Server Population Caps?

Pserver pops are not a good indicator of how a blizzard server would be though in my opinion. Classic will have US servers. Pservers are global, and the US is actually a pretty small part of the playerbase. Several regions tend to keep to themselves and don't really interact with the rest of the server.

I think a vanilla capped classic server will appear far more active than what a vanilla capped pserver would.

The point is that mega servers were not a part of the original Vanilla experience. Playing on a mega server warps the entire community dynamic.

Would proponents of mega servers suggest that they be labeled somehow? Why not have specially labeled servers that allow paid character boosts? Why not have separately labeled servers with transmog? You're suggesting that we open Pandora's Box here.

That's just taking this way too far. I'm just concerned that the population numbers will be far more volatile than original vanilla. People will be coming from retail or giving up because its too hard/not what they thought it was.

I'm not trying to have them implement some crazy changes that are going to take tons of time to implement. I'm just suggesting they revisit the population caps.
