Thru some discord research, currently Mutanus which is West Coast RP-PVP is roughly the closest to a 50-50 split. I am NOT saying servers will fail because of unequal percentages Im just stating a fact, (Since most of this thread is people’s “experienced” opinions).
Im excited about this - and the fact a lot of the Grob crew is going there will give Mutanus longevity. Any other to comment on this?
Facts =D

Grob => Mutanus seems to be a trend indeed.
Looks like Mutanus is absorbing a lot of the west coast

Nightfall and Mutanus are competing right now, and i’m concerned about each of their pop # health. Honestly I think best would be that Nightfall just join Mutanus as that’s where Grobb is making it’s home and those players are known for consistency. And obviously Mutanus is already showing much better # and ratio than Nightfall. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mutanus naturally absorbs Nightfall down the line.

Thank you Lazarak for steering me to BS.

I originally picked Nightfall since it was supposed to be the west coast “mega server”. Now it looks like Mutanus was chosen by the RP community and is pulling people from Nightfall. I switch to Mutanus so hopefully that was the right choice.

Interesting. Contrast that with Jom Gabbar and Barman Shanker discord numbers:
There is a bunch of overlap in #'s but if you go to Nightfalls disc you’ll see only 1 horde guild is left as they all migrated to Mutanus.

This is the guy that said Jom Gabbar was doa and nightfall was mega server.
What happening to your server rn man?
He wont say anything, Nightfall is DBA dead before arrival

Man it’s almost like his “facts” changes within 24 hours. crazy
nightfall pop is still dropping only thinng that sucks is gunna be joms login que time im jjuts going to stay in the login in screen 3 hours prior and wait for the dc and reconnect to try and get a decent spot
There will be a login que for some time, we aren’t gonna see anything even remotely close to classic. Not even on launch. The ques we will see briefly will be no bother. People will die off and quit etc esp as phases move forward
The word on the street is that Mutanus is absorbing guilds from Nightfall, is accruing a larger population than Nightfall, and has a reservoir of resilient RP-PvPers that would be content to play the game if the only dungeon in the game was Ragefire Chasm. As far as West Coast servers go, Mutanus is probably the safer bet.
On the East Coast, Jom Gabbar is the largest server, even when compared to the EU servers. It’s a good bet to play Alliance there, as it is roughly 60-40 in population, with close to 5,000 people who have picked a faction on the Discord. The only concern is the lack of Horde guilds recruiting. We need more Horde leadership on Jom Gabbar, especially because the remnants of GRIZZLY and other sweaty guilds are forming an Alliance guild there.

There are horde guilds in a separate discord going Jom. Including mine. The ratio will remain alliance heavy but there are some very good players rolling horde there. You are very accurate atm tho
horde # on jom is slowly creeping up

Yes. It has mostly been hovering around 60% Alliance to 40% Horde, but it currently stands at about 58% to 42%. We can only hope that the Horde numbers grow on Jom Gabbar, particularly people willing to lead Horde guilds.

PVE server all day, and when I want to PvP it wont be getting corpse camped by a rogue near a busy quest hub, it will be in structured battlegrounds where true skill is measured.
Shadowstrike will be THE PVE server for NA. ALLIANCE WYA???
