Seriously? not a single Axe? All Swords

What was unique to the Alliance that can be given to Horde?

Alliance got more spells because Shaman had more exclusive spells to be exchanged.

And I would argue Kings is WAY more impactful than any of those effects, so the fact that Horde have access to it now should be a **huge deal. **

But nope, all we get is Wah Wah Wah.

kings doesn’t mean jack if your main dps can’t hit the Boss as effectively. all your humans are effectively a level higher than everyone else.

It’s another 10%> you glance 40% of the time. Going from +5 to +9 reduces the penalty for glancing by an additional 25%> .4*.25=.1

You forgot that Alliance also got Tremor Totem on Paladins, so not an equal exchange.

A two-handed axe with spirit main stat, of benefit to absolutely no class.

Yeah I think we did solve the mystery here. Everything was designed for Alliance accessibility. Like, there’s no arguing that things are fair or balanced here. The only argument to be made is if they meant to do it or if they just forgot “hey, we got Horde players too”.

Horde gained an overpowered tank spec with their Shamans, as well as a recently buffed rune that gives an absurd 10% hit chance. Several BiS/prebis items come from horde only quests. Horn of Lordaeron overwrites Blessing of Might, even with multiple paladins, so thats really hit or miss. Blizz has already stated they plan to take a look into the impact that weapon skill provides. and this ALL on top of the fact that WE ARE LEVEL 25.

oooo ya because an effective tank is what we were lacking.

Point here, they added a grip of new items, all for alliance, none for horde. The end.

While I agree this doesn’t bode well for them fixing 60 itemization with respect to axes, bosses in BFD are only +2 levels, not +3, so weapon skill isn’t a big deal this phase

You forgot Grace of Air.

As someone that plays both of those classes, it’s pretty shocking how poorly Shaman were treated compared to Paladins. Shaman don’t have much in the way of buffs at this level anyways, but we didn’t get anything added. Paladins on the other hand have some pretty good buffs at this level already, and got even more through runes. Shaman actually feels like you are playing a lv25 character, whereas Paladins feel like you are playing a lv60.

Enhance shamans don’t have auto resets or a way to make their white hits yellow. 10% extra hit isn’t really absurd given that

Agreed, and I should have mentioned/been more clear that I am fearing for the future. And I’m here bringing attention to it in hopes that we get some Horde love in the next phases. If you’re going to add in a new sword itemized nice for the new content, add in a damn axe too! simple as that.

There is no “equal exchange” your are just defending your faction.

Kings vs Tremor, Strengh of the Earth and Windfury Totems this is your “equal exchange” ?

What you are doing is called “intellectual dishonesty” .

Shamans have to constantly redrop their totems and move them.

Paladins are walking tremor totems and druids are walking windfury

Totem immobility vs mobility so alliance are better there by default

Horrible argument, 0/10 see me after class. People are speaking up so we don’t repeat this in p2.

Strength of earth is inferior to might and GOA is mutually exclusive with tranquil air (unlike salv with other buffs) so you don’t get it half the time, and when you do it requires twisting every 10s with WF, which takes up ~1/7 of the shaman’s GCDs and a lot of mana, whereas paladins just prebuff once before the boss.

The imbalance between totems and blessings in raids is actually comical, and it’s amazing they’ve never addressed it.

hopefully those supposed discussions they mentioned about “allowing gaining weaponskill from other sources” manifest, would love this to no longer be an issue at all

“absurd” 10% hit change which barelly does something in pvp and still at bottom dps rankings in pve.

Ok, we are level 25 but tell me, what Alliance exclusive buff they you give to the Horde at lv 40?

Original BFD had a two-hand axe and a two-hand sword… the two-hand sword just happened to come from the last boss. They made that one the epic.

Gnomeregan has a two-hand axe from the last boss. I’d imagine Gnomer will favor axes.

How about they just add multiple weapon types instead of one for each phase, because this current strategy is stupid. Or just put some weapon skill items in the game already.

NGL… I’m getting cooked.

Ok listen, I can see your points regarding how Shaman feels a lot more clunky to play and that Paladin has gotten the same tools and can use them in a MUCH easier way constantly.

But I just feel like a lot of these issues are only visible because of the current Level 25 Cap. Once everyone is 60 I feel like this is really going to become a non-issue.

That’s what I’m saying, if you add a weapon, add an axe and mace , or an axe and sword… not just sword sword mace sword. haha, People keep bringing up 2h weapons too, not realizing that has literally nothing to do with this argument.
