Do the devs have benchmarks of completion based on group iLevel averages they are hoping to succeed?

But then how would we see RWF players puking up blood on stream after 400 pulls?

Don’t bump threads or hijack threads just to @ Blizz.

The team can do their best, but that have gone on record as saying it’s better to release an overtuned raid and nerf it, then to feel like they need to buff the raid.

People hate being unable to rekill a boss that was fixed. Far more palatable to never kill in the first place.

I think there is a difference between a bit overtuned with some nerfs and the almost daily nerfs for 4 weeks this raid has gotten across all difficulties.

SotFO probably has more nerfs already than SoD and CN combined.

The first boss had 2 rounds of nerfs on mythic before the first guild even killed it.

Artificer had his enrage timer extended by 3 minutes before his first kill lol.

Yes, they missed high this time. Nobody is contesting that. At the same time, they missed low on Guardian, Fatescribe and KT last tier, and didn’t want a repeat of that again.

Very high. Here are “just” anduin changes so far. This is insane.

  • Anduin Wrynn

    • The healing absorbed by Anduin’s Befouled Barrier has been reduced by 25% on Normal difficulty and reduced by 30% on Heroic difficulty.
  • Anduin Wrynn

    • Hopebreaker damage over time reduced by 10% on Heroic difficulty.
    • Befouled Barrier requires 25% less healing on Heroic and Mythic difficulty.
    • Befouled Barrier requires 50% less healing on Raid Finder and Normal difficulty.
    • Reduced the health of Grim Reflections by 20% on all difficulties except Mythic.
    • Reduced Beacon of Hope’s Purging Light damage by 20% on Heroic difficulty.
    • Fixed an issue where Rain of Despair was able to damage pets.

    • Anduin’s health reduced by 5% on Heroic difficulty.
    • Remorseless Winter damage reduced by 10% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
    • Fiendish Soul Health reduced by 25% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
    • Grim Reflection health reduced by 10% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
    • Befouled Barrier requires 10% less healing on Heroic difficulty.
    • Befouled Barrier requires 20% less healing on Normal difficulty.

  • 3 Grim Reflections are now summoned on Heroic difficulty (was 4).
  • Monstrous Soul Health reduced by 5% on Heroic difficulty.
  • Monstrous Soul’s Necrotic Detonation can be cast while moving on all difficulties.
  • Befouled Barrier absorb amount reduced by 25% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
  • Remorseless Winter damage reduced by 20% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.

  • Anduin Wrynn’s health reduced by 5% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
  • Anduin’s Despair health reduced by 25% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.
  • Remnant of the Fallen King’s Army of the Dead summons a Monstrous Soul once per intermission on Heroic difficulty.
  • Wicked Star damage reduced by 20% on Normal and Heroic difficulty.

The thing is, I don’t think that all these nerfs were necessary. Some were, but not all.

A few bug fixes in there, but almost all there are direct nerfs.
