Sept 8th-12th 2019 - WoW connection issues / WOW51900328

Yes, server is Thunderfury. Playing on ubuntu, installed with lutris, running under wine. Was playing mere hours ago without issue. I logged out to do some real life stuff, and was unable to log back in. I’ve been able to reach realm select, but no further. I’ve tried cycling my router, repairing wow install, updating my own associated software(wine, etc.), restarting computer, tried IPv6, etc. However, I’m still failing to get past server selection.

yes still in Mankrik

Thanks everyone.

Based on the reports so far, most of you are using a Telephone connection or a VPN/Proxy connection. Do you have the ability to use a normal broadband connection to see if it resolves the error?

No, I’ve been playing with a phone connection since WotLK, can’t get any other service here.

I can’t get in Blaumeux-US, I can see a couple buddies are online in it. Also can’t connect to Benediction, Herod or Thalnos all US. Getting Error: WOW51900328. I’ve changed the settings to support IPv6 and deleted all Add-Ons. Still no fix.

I cannot. There is no other connection possibility out here.

PROBLEM RESOLVED
thank you Ibaraius for the update!
and all at blizzard for doing the best they could!

I am connected using a smaller northern ontario based broadband ISP. I am not sure how they handle connections outside of this region. It might appear to be a vpn/proxy.

When I use regular wifi-share from my fiends phone it works and lets me in. Just not on mine. Never had this issue till today.

Was able to connect via satellite internet. Cable is unavailable where I’m at. Connecting through my phone has a much better ping.

I am still getting the 51900328 error. I can’t connect to any server. I can get into the realm selection screen, but selecting a server times out and gives me the error.

Instant DC when i put in my password at the login screen.

I use my phone. Pretty stable connection and have been playing a couple of weeks.

I didn’t have this problem until I got disconnected during the DDOS attacks. No issues for over 10 years using my phone. And it’s the only way I can play the game.

Thanks for letting us know.

I just wanted to see if swapping to a different connection did help. We are still working on getting everyone in. The information is very helpful.

Thankyou. It does appear to be the comm-denom…

So I switched from pdaNET+ to the standard tether with no identity shield and was able to log in. Switched back to stealth and couldn’t log in.

Yes, I’m still getting that error when I try to login to my realm.

I’m able to log in. Thank you.

People who are on their normal broadband connection, please try the following steps and reboot your computer afterwards:
