that might be because of the one talent that shoots the tiny frostfire bolt. It seems to proc every time i cast frostfire bolt manually.
was it me?? yeah the damage is there, but the CD management has to be planned out as the spikes are insane and the lows are horrible. Try to get 3 meteors off in a fight as that’s practically your highest damage behind pyro and ignite.
You are correct, the ppm on the mini-bolt is pretty high so testing on a dummy has a habit of frontloading the procs.

I wish fire mages would go back to the old school type when pyroblast and fireball where the top damage dealers instead of ignite. If i want to DoT something i would play a warlock or a Shadow priest.

Yeah people like to BS on the forums all the time and flex their lies, nothing new. 
I ran it right when things opened up so everyone was still 580s like me.
it still translates now 590 - 600 in m0.
Strongest dps? No, but close enough with the rest of the dps. The upcoming balance change, based on my meters, will put me even closer.
