I see ya point. But a guy can hope that it is a Warning Label of “Hmm… do I click DE or Equip and SB this 5k BoE or try to sell it?” type of feeling. I mean they (Blizz) could have just put a huge Red “?” there instead of a Pirate flag.

I see you, but as a retired Firefighter, Hazmat Toxicity Paramedic I saw it used on tons of labels. As with Blizzard Devs’ who knows? Right? Unless my interpretation [can] in your post was misread and or understood.

Sure as heck didn’t receive an “of Gilneas” title.
Did the same setup for reclaiming Lordaeron for the Horde, more involved quests, no cut-scenes, but got the “of Lordaeron” title.
The quests for Lordaeron were started with Genn Greymane, and end with Calia Menethril “winning” a position. The Gilneas quests for Horde start with you talking to Calia, and end with Genn “losing” a position.

At first I thought it was a joke patch, maybe meant to be 420 or Talk like a Pirate Day and that there isn’t a patch at all. It could all still be a hoax, after all, there are no pirates.
Hmm, I interpreted the “researchers under fire” event in ZC to be the finale/origin of the rot stuff. But it involved a fair amount of head canon to connect it all.
My hope is also the opening of certain classes to all races. May just be wishful thinking, but we’ll see.
Right? I’d love to see Brawler’s Guild return.

Hmm a rot based mega dungeon is a very slight possibility.
For whatever reason between the secretive flag on the timeline, and the lack of making it public on the ptr or announcing anything about it at all, they sure are purposely trying to cause some hype about it.
It’s a very fine edge to walk on, if its lackluster it will just annoy people for all the secrecy around it for no good reason and turn them off of it.
So whatever it is, better be good. I for one hate being stringed along to disappointment. If it is a nothing special at all patch or just a storyline around pirates they’re really making a mistake in my opinion silently hyping it up.
On the other hand if its something like druids and shamans unlocking to all races, combined with something like player housing or some other brand new feature, that would be worth the secrecy.
Is it possible 10.2.6 is the hero talent patch? A lot of trees have already been revealed in development phase, the haunch is uniquely staggering this route.
