Outlaw is a mess right now but Outlaw players been asking for just one thing to fix it.
Bigger % increase in damage since we have:
No Burst - Killing Spree is a joke. Why call it killing spree when it does less damage than my ambush procs?
Lack of pressure sustain - Our damage ticks are minimal but builds up well with RTB hits right. I find it much easier to fight cloth folks because of this. (might as well play Fury thou since they do it better).
RNG rolls or bust
Only thing we can do well is flying around with grapping hook, shadowstep, blade rush and gouge/stun/kick the doodoo out of folks.
Outlaw has no Devs support. Finally put 9% in for next patch. Unsure if it’s enough though but I feel like it’ll help more in the PvE aspect of things.

Some do but some don’t. That’s the problem with testing on a pvp dummy. Your stats go up, but all of the changes to talents barely change. Like, Weaponmaster changes but Dark Shadow doesn’t. The weapon poison also doesn’t change but Secret Tech does change I believe. Haven’t used secret tech in months though

What would you suggest? No double Shadowdance and vanish & increase damage %?
One minute dance, no dmg increase on dance but maybe a small sustained dmg increase as rogue burst is already high enough and one vanish. When your spec is broken you don’t get compensation.
Outlaw needs a rework to tweak some of their things. Kinda like how it took a few tries for them to get sv right.

It used to be that way and i am pretty sure thats what its supposed to be. I would even argue that the rogue pot was intended for outlaw to begin with.
I think it would be interesting if it became tankier but not more heals or defenses. Things like instead of duelwielding they use a shield (swashbuckler) and cc is changed a bit for that spec. More armor/resist/hp in general and it plays more like a fencer with lunges in and out of combat but is far less reliant on stealth.

With the damage nerfs I think sub is alright. If someone on the team saves ccs and be alert when he pops shadow dance helps alot. Disrupt their wombo combo.

Damage nerfs do nothing about making them immortal.

If you take away the double shadow dance they only got 1 shot to blow their st which would probably be CCed from the getgo and remain useless until its up.
They should remove double vanish, double dance, and the vanish CDR so they can bring prep back (have prep reset dance, blind, sprint, and kick only). I think sub SHOULD have scary damage during dance goes, but they shouldn’t be impervious to punishing factors which they are now.
In a sense Outlaw is kinda like a fencer; or how I play it. We have 3 dashes (shadowstep, grapping hook, blade rush [if taken]).
I just dash around and cc when its needed and apply pressure at our focus.
As of now I think if blizz intended to Outlaw to be “that way”; which I believe since we have HIGH APM/KPM.
if they change float like a butterfly to 1 sec instead of 0.5 (matches arent that long), somehow make a talent that reduces feint energy (we are energy hungry), put in CoS with Float like a butterfly we be defensive enough.
But in this meta route I think outlaw just need flat out damage % buff and make KS burst not a talent point advancement.
