Something is definitely amiss when it’s become the accepted norm to have a computer tell us how to play…

Since I don’t raid anything higher than heroic, and am lucky enough to play a brewmaster, I can take straight ilvl upgrades np. My secondary stats are all roughly equal, minus haste. I don’t find haste that bad either, I just avoid haste trinkets.

Both of these secondaries were in Wrath and Cata. They actually made gear and choices matter.

in cata it was fun to look at my hit rating in my resto gear on my shaman. XD

I have other reasons for preferring wrath and Cata than secondaries though.

I just hated TBC.

Wrath I PvP’d a lot and met some really awesome people during. Cata was my raid break expansion. The dungeons changes were the best. Actual difficulty. Was great.

How much time do you waste in BFA getting loot with bad secondary stat distributions? For me, that’s more of the loot I’ve gotten across my toons.

Zero, all my loot came from normal raids when they were current and fun and later from incursion and weekly events while farming medals and badges :+1:

I don’t think you understand what I am saying.

If you did, you would understand that you are, essentially, claiming that you only got 15 pieces of loot in 6 months.

Nope , i got too many trash items during that period that i disenchanted or scrapped. The ones that i found good i kept…simple as that

I am planning to skip the next raid but if you keep an eye on me ill probably be 400+ with similar stat distribution before 8.2 such is how catch ups have been :+1:

This is what this thread is about.

In TBC, you got less loot but loot you did get was almost always an upgrade due to the way that the stats were granted through professions.

More customization reduces the amount of trash epics in the game.

Edit: Put another way, there shouldn’t be a sea of “trashy epics” in the game.

You also didn’t get champion of the naaru so whatever guild ‘poached’ you didn’t even complete tier 4 content. Yikes!
