Seasons of Discovery: Molten Core Heat 3 - Shazzrah Spawning Two Clones on Teleport

While doing Molten Core Heat Level 3 on Tuesday 9/24/2024, Shazzrah’s teleportation ability would summon two clones at the same spot, instead of 1, causing massive AoE damage to anyone in range. This doesn’t seem intended, even with multiple dedicated decursers there didn’t seem to be a way to feasibly heal through it and we ended up having 10 people or so die (mostly melee) when this boss has been a clean oneshot with 0 to 2 deaths for weeks.

Not sure if they updated the mechanic but I haven’t seen anything in patch notes, so I figured I’d make a post due to how overtuned it felt.

Our guild experienced the same roadblock last night after not seeing it last week have double teleports. Glad to see we arent alone, we thought we were crazy and/or missed patch notes sonewhere.

Yeah both of my guilds experienced this same outcome. We’ve been doing Shaz on H3 for a while and this was never an issue and then all of a sudden with the release of BWL it seems to be bugged.
