I don’t get it. I see Trump for what he is - an insecure lad who has to jump up and down and stomp his bone-spurred feet anytime someone points out his failings. How can anyone watch and listen to him and fail to realize that he’s just a conman? He’s not bright or sincere and he obviously cares about nobody but himself. He’s not qualified to be in any position of authority, He didn’t pay attention to briefings or read reports during his first term. He spent his time tweeting, watching FOX and holding rallies. It scares me that there are people in this country who would actually vote for a guy who wanted to nuke a hurricane.

The question you should be asking yourself, are you better off than you were four years ago? You may find the answer on why people like me who are going to vote for him.

Exactly four years ago, we were in the middle of the worst global pandemic in nearly a century. We had a president who was denying that Covid was a problem, was making up nonsense about how Democrats were blowing it out of proportion in order to cost him the election, and was publicly attacking the head of his own Covid Task Force. This undermined his administration’s ability to respond to the virus because Trump’s most loyal supporters were defying the Task Force’s recommendations for preventing the virus’ spread. Many Trump supporters, at Trump’s own urging, went maskless and took no precautions.
During the week of September 21-27th, 2020, we had 36,000 deaths to Covid in that week alone, and we hadnt even reached Covid’s peak yet. Grocery store shelves across the nation were bare of most essentials, people were in a panic and looking to the government to leadership, and Trump was literally on his golf course for almost his 300th time during his term.
Gas prices were low because no one could go anywhere due to almost everything from movie theaters to libraries to bars being closed to slow the pandemic’s spread, and meanwhile Trump was busy holding public, heavily crowded, mostly unmasked re-election rallies in Minnesota.
We lived through this. We are all, presumably, adults who remember all of this happening, and trying to gaslight us into believing otherwise is not going to work. We are all better off now than we were in 2020 when we were living through the absolute trainwreck of Trump’s disastrous Covid response. This is objectively true by every measurable metric, and if your response is “But inflation!” or “But gas prices!” then you are not someone who actually cares about whether or not we have competent leadership in a time of crisis. And if you think Trump was competent leadership during the time of crisis, then lol. Just lol.
The answer is because you are delusional.

how do we know if people actually died from covid? Data was incorrect and was proven to be incorrect. Example you could have a person driving home from work and died from falling tree and autopsy will show that person had covid and they determent that was cause of death.

have you been to Springfield Ohio? Daily Wire send a reporter down there to see what’s going on. Israel has so much influence over our politicians, at so many levels, and it makes one wonder if any president will try to change that.
Between that, and the meat grinder in Ukraine that we are content to keep going, we are paying for a lot of lost lives.
Say what you will about the US, but there was a time when we had the clout, and the willingness to use it, in an effort to mediate and resolve conflicts.
I’m not sure what our government cares about anymore.
