Rp is easily grief-able so having an RP server helps at least let players know that they may run into that sort of thing and as a reminder to be respectful. there are also a few unique rules for playing on an RP server like for names and guild tags.

It was only good because everyone from Whitemane xferred there. We were full, locked, and layered in Classic. TBCC boosts killed our server and we went from 18k alliance to sub 5k in TBCC.

RP, and RP-PvP servers almost always outlast everything else. Even the low pop Deviate Delight survived almost every other server

yeah right dude. You can still look up the info. Whitemane was highest pop server, ever, and 48-52, which is amazing for being the largest server.
We were locked and triple layered in Classic. You simple do not know what you’re talking about.
I am not saying whitemane wasnt an amazing server. but whitemane transfers where not even the biggest transfer group to grobbulus. The day transfers opened to grobb we got guild transfering to us in droves and it didnt stop. Its even going on today. Again I am not attacking whitemane as server but your perspective that grobbulus was only keep even and strong cause of it. When in reality it was a bump in the ocean

(more lacked players without the everyone and their mom being a sweaty minmaxer ruining the fun of raiding with friends)

You mean DD the server at the end of classic that has a archived population of less then 1k? You’re joking right? It was one of the smallest servers period.
Grob is archived at 6th place with a 61:39 balance and was almost 25% smaller than whitemane. DD quite literally only had 100-150 more players then the bottom 5 realms and considering those servers were purposely abandoned, when DD was not is important context.
Your bias is clearly evident here. I personally do not care if you get RP servers or not. Good for you if you do, however Blizzard would only be leaving RP realms to die if they opened equally spread and available servers for it. Or simply letting people scream and complain like banshees because there is only one and it’s not in their preferred time zone.
Results looks unfavorable for you.

you act like vanilla didnt have 2.5k active player cap at first, that if you dont have 6k+ its a dead server. My bias is evident sure, but so is yours. The difference is I played on these servers and deviate was always small, because they released it after official release.
And I have played RP-PvP servers since 2005, they outlast others, RPers have endless content at their disposal

DD had no chance because RPer already decided on Grob and no one wanted to leave what they had setup as DD was to last minute for it to live. 1 server even if last minute won;t have this issue regardless if RP or RPPVP as it gives at least 1 home for RPer’s, while not as big of a group they are more dedicated to the game imo in having fun and meeting new friends.
please give us a RP-PvP server

How are you being factual? you do not have correct numbers. You have a lose at best number count of active max level raiders. You dad doesnt work for blizzard. I know you think you are the smartest person in any room you grace with you numbers, I get it.
