Season of Mastery Design Intentions, Part 2 of 2

Isnt this unfair, given that Rank 14 will be a walk in the park now and rep items easier to get, while 40% xp boost exists?

We classic era folks will be flood with retail games that had an easy path to their gear, while we actually had to work for it.

You completely kill the era realms with that move. You should open up a new SOM era realm for those people and not let them bring their stuff to our realms. I truly did hope, you would not mix up these two different game types…

The classic som changes are not going to stop me and my guilds ownage over the entire server. Just give it up before you are completely trampled over in pvp and pve

Sure man keep telling yourself that.

Don’t believe me? It’s al recorded on YouTube. Look it up and you’ll find me. Not a singe ret paladin brother of yours

No thank you and I am not just a ret paladin main I play almost all classes/specs besides priest or balance druid. I am done with this convo its boring to me. Good luck with your game though. But I would recommand not putting so much in to one game and try and not get upset when people recommend changes it just shows close minded you seem to be. Cant wait till SoM 2.
PS. I plan on still playing SoM and even if I ever seen your name I am just laugh at you.

You guys will be in full naxx bis when SoM players come to your realms anyway so I don’t think it’s a big deal. Plus if you need more members for raiding wouldnt you want them in decent gear to help you out? Naxx gear stomps r14 gear anyway so I don’t see this as much of an issue when you’ll of had over 2 years to gear up in preparation for som players to come over.

Good to know. I’ll check back in a year if SoM2 has actual class changes to allow massively underperforming memes to have some love. It’s already got some changes but not the changes a certain player base was looking forward to.

No Major Class Changes

so mage isn’t a class? You know remove AOE farming and all

Nerfing AOE farming in some dungeons isn’t changing the class.

You MEME spec Andy’s are really reaching now.

Could we get a little clarification on a few things in relation to Dungeon Set 2 questlines?

Will all of the Templars, Dukes, and Lords/Royals be available for summoning at launch? Or just the Templars/Dukes? Will the normal loot tables for these enemies be available at launch?

Will Cenarion Hold reputation still be required in order to summon these enemies? If yes, will Cenarion Hold related quests be available at launch as well (such as turning in pages) or should we expect to kill a lot of Twilight Cultists at 1 rep per? Thank you for the clarification.

I am about 95% sure when the SoM server ends we’ll have the exact same option our last Classic-Era toons had. Upon selection we’ll have two windows, stay in Classic, or move to TBC.

TBCC will be over in another year. You’d have to move to WotLKC.
(If they even make one)

If they get class balance right, it would be great.

However, when done wrong it not only ruins the game and the entire season but it loses the feel of the game. Once gone you can’t put humpty back together.

frost is a meme spec huh you sure you play mage

Go ahead, look at my P1-P6 logs (Ozi - Sulfuras) and make my day. I have no interest in playing Vanilla classic again without revisions for simple quality of life changes. I wanted to pvp in vanilla classic, I didn’t have the time to farm the gold for raids and respecs as well as be a 97th percentile mage throughout the entirety of its life. Not to mention having to change spec each and every time we went to revisit old content from fire back to frost. Dual-spec would have changed my mind on revisiting the game, but I’ll let you suffer with bottom of the barrel mages because any player worth their salt won’t be playing SOM. Have fun wiping a lot bucko

What’s REALLY that different about the game though? What’s going in that’s going to make you play it any different than you did last time?

They’re just not that into you bro

where will you play SoM?

I’m going pve this time around, I had my fill of “wpvp” on grob when transfers became available, F that noise.

I’m just not a KoS person, which is why I went on an rppvp server. Was hoping for not having to deal with that to an extent but that’s how it turned out.

But I will say that I never leveled on a pvp server to that degree, lv 58. SO that was new to me. But p2 wrecked me. So yeah gonna stay on pve and queue for BG’s on the brackets for gear and build up rest exp for a week or two and resume leveling again till next bracket. so on and so fourth.
