One would think that not all PvPers are progression based. (In fact, I would think they’d be the least progression based since the driver isn’t “getting that next boss down.”)

Exactly they think, a new server will let them be able to be the ones on top as they take their time getting to 60 cause “muh journey”, while the uber try hards zoom past them and control it.
Then they’ll flounder for a bit and ask for another fresh server.
The only real difficulty in WoW is in arenas and RBGs.
Theres no addons to tell you where to stand and what button to press like in retail
Theres no years worth of data on how to do xyz on what boss like in era
theres information on how to be a better PVP player, but go beat the top teams and holler back at me.
Classic Era is “fun” because most of the player base can go warrior and just overpower everything.
(except frost mages)
Nothing is stopping you or anyone else from participating in those fresh rerolls that have been occurring on the era servers.
I don’t think fresh enjoyers care what absurd strawmans fresh haters come up with tbh, not sure why anti freshers (players who were scorned or rejected in 2019 for being a meme spec or just flat out were farmed in 1 way or another) continue to press the issue. Ironically at the same time having played sod while chanting “fresh bad”. Xd
What are you worried about? Sod was a fresh server, but it doesn’t count right?
I believe a lot of the fresh hate stems from the high amount of damage control being done to save face for sod after mass dissapointment in the mode. Sunk cost, if you will

Absolute comedy that people demanding “fReSh” think coming to the SoD forums will get it instead of staying on the general classic forums.
All this tells me, is that they are upset at SoD for existing instead of Blizzard for not catering to their silly demands.

We’re equally baffled as to why requests for Fresh Vanilla threads are in the SoD forums…
There’s a classic general forums → with all 25,000 people that agree with them.
(If you would like to see Vanilla not getting dunked on for being a joke of a game in regards to classes and PvP ranking system…then stop posting outside the classic general forums.)
There’s a “fresh server” over on Deviate delight…they need people.

I decided that a 1.12 fresh would have been more fun when SoD was announced, after waiting months for the season announcement, that this just doesn’t do it for me.
While at the same time doing my best to understand that for other people this was what they wanted, and in a season Blizzard can change whatever. All because I understand that people like different things.
I played anyway for 5 days, saw that the servers long-term were just not going to be enjoyable - in addition to not really liking the core of what it is, and noped out. Then I didn’t touch anything WoW for 4 months.
I get why some people don’t want this topic on here, but on the other hand, the majority of these people just tend to post rude one-liners that they repeat over and over, with their minds closed more than a book with gorilla glue poured all over it. So I don’t even care anymore if these threads bother them, because people who show zero empathy to others deserve zero empathy back. They could mute or even report threads if they wanted to.

Here is where your anger shows from being that scorned enhance shaman in classic who couldn’t “be the next unbreakable”, which I outlined in a previous post these are the only people who hate the idea of a group of people wanting to replay canilla.

Yep. It’s actually fun. It’s the reason I and others won’t be back for p4. Imagine a 5 year old server being more fun than sod. If sod was good I would still be playing it

Unbreakable was a highlight reel (fraud) for one, that, for another, cannot be achieved in classic.
Enhancement shaman in Classic is dogwater. (Legit boring and unviable beyond level 40)
Enhance wasn’t allowed to raid in Classic by any raid that had options.
(For a reason.)

With even as hosed as SoD is with the delay, Cata, MoP, etc…- STILL has more people than Era, including its “fresh start” server.

Blizzard operates on a timing release basis for their products. Why do you think youre stuck at level 50 a decade later in sod? I don’t blame them for launching one right now and I also think the timing isnt good for it right now and I am sure they know that. Would i play it with good timing? Yep.

You failed in classic 2019 and loathe the idea of them doing another fresh start server. (they will, when timing/business benefits). Its obvious you dont really know how to have fun in vanilla - all you know is “the raid” every week
people complain about vanilla meta and raiding but wont play cata or retail, games which are specifically designed for exactly what youre asking for!

Really? That’s why they released SoD, Cata Classic, MoP Remix, and Plunderstorm all within months of each other, or simultaneously…
(Psst: of all the **** they threw at the wall to get subs… Vanilla fresh didn’t make the cut…all the more embarassing when you realize that Vanilla fresh would literally need zero dev time. Just maintenance.)
