Retails per-boss lock system is much much better than raidID.
Not sure BFD even needs any kind of lockout though. Maybe a daily lockout.

I actually agree with this. BFD is similar to UBRS in terms of gearing so Iâm not sure why BFD would be a 3 day lockout.
Outside of the raid, thereâs really not much to do. No reason to lock us out of the content every 3 days.
These SoD RAID ID Lockouts are horrible Blizzard! 1 DC , Rage quit , anyone leaving for any reason and you basically cant fill to finish the raid. This is not fun or good design. Please make it so your group can fill with other players that are at a similar boss.
I prefer classic, but you do realize Classic raids are the easiest in the game right? Thatâs kinda the point and why they are better too. You can bring 40 ppl in an epic fight and it doesnt matter if half of them are clickers/braindead. You can raid and have fun and get the best gear still.
I like the raid ID lockouts.
Everyone talking about how easy this raid is doesnât realize how bad at the game most people actually are
Anyway, I would like to be able to finish the raid with another 5/7 group, where I got stuck because I decided to go on a limb for less geared guildies. I think a big problem will occur though where people arenât going to try very hard after a wipe or two and leave in droves if every fight isnât and instant one shot. The lock out mechanism makes people double down and try harder even after hunter guildie #1 went into Kelris with no ammo and youâve just realized ret paladin guildie #2 is still wearing level 15 greens, while mage #3 and Druid #4 post about getting intoxicated every water break
I donât think Iâll help newer players for a while
Itâs not like BFD is an endgame raid that drops tons of epics. Itâs a leveling dungeon that drops blues. It doesnât need a lockout. The lockout purely exists to waste your time and keep you playing until theyâre ready to release p2.
To this point, a similar group of people logged everything at the start of classic, and a different group didnât even know logging existed.
While there were obiously established guilds. Many guilds had not even solidified at that point. People came from not playing for years and having no ties. Just joining whoever on a whim.
Many guilds couldnât find the players and pugged out 10+ slots. Or did multi-guild. I did quite a few random pugs where that was the case. I joined the guild I did, because I pugged MC with them for 3 weeks.
Not all those groups downed rag. Now you could just say oh that was me, but if it was so easy all my groups should have still killed him every week in less than 2 hours.
What happened to your bench?
the logs dont mean F all.
BFD raid is an absolute joke and anyone who actually wipes on it should REALLY feel bad.
There is literally nothing hard about spreading out on phase 2 as melee and just pop a shadow resist potion and never die.
Only bad players die on it
Yes, the raid is EASY
But people in classic are usually just BAD players.
There the ones who quit retail because doing a normal mythic dungeon is to hard for them
UhhhhâŚno they didnt.
I was literally THERE to. nobody was struggling on MC, most GUILDS just went in greens on.
Man you dumb F classic vanilla andies actually make up the craziest lies.
No wonder you people are just so notoriously bad at the game. You people deserved to be mocked and made fun of
least cringe wow raider
Work for BLizzard? YOu defend a flawed system to aggressively. Itâs a bad system. Not everyone can play 60 hours a week, not all can âvetâ everyone due to not having 70 a week to play. Just wonder why you want to defend something that is obviously flawed. Just because you can do the raid with your vetted group and you leadership skills are the where they need to be, not everyone elses is. You must be a Blizz emp
This isnât retail. Go back there if you donât like it.
cause the dev team needs some to waste players time or drag out their time in SoD since they didnt even go out of their way to improve gear drops in SFK/WC. I hate the lockouts but aggrend mentioned like 10 days ago they have no plans to fix this like the goombas they are
Listen, we all know the lockout exists for no reason other than to slow progression. It just plainly is.
However, it is a necessary evil. If you werenât making this thread complaining about this lockout, youâd be making a thread complaining about you having nothing to work towards in the game until nearly February at the earliest.
If left unchecked, the number of players rushing to the finish line would further stagnate the game. Just take it easy, youâll get there eventually.
Personally when i was playing classic 2006 i didnt even know raid existed and keep doing 4 main dungeon for gear. Thats how casual i was. It was until ZG was out then i start to know MC existed.
NO one would be that sane be making posts saying âALL THIS LOOT AND NOTHING TO DOâ it would be WSG premade groaning and balance complaining like usual. The issue stems that dungeons like UBRS exist and arent lockouts but BFD is and its the only âNEWâ content for this season lol
