So as a lock tank i was already struggling with threat especially aoe threat. AND i felt squishy as can be because reasons i guess… you just nerfed what threat i did have, nerfed my ability to mitigate damage and as a consolation prize you gave me 15% more hp…cool 800 more hp meanwhile i get chunked even in strat and have non existant aoe threat
Did the D4 bad team come to work on phase 8 SoD? Nerfing everyone b4 the season/phase starts? No one likes to go backwards in player prog power. This was how D4 bad lost 95% of its player base and never recovered. History tends to repeat itself I guess…
Where are the changes to reflect gear effects in PvP?? Wearing 2-3 pieces can make you literally unattackable as certain classes…
The nerfs to most classes were excessive but especially for hunter and paladin. What were the devs thinking making us aq/pre-aq powerful in t3? What a clown show.
What did they do to hunters?
Please follow through on making Balefire Bolt 30% for mages. Fire should have an advantage in pure ST like Frost does with cleave.
Why do you nerf feral dps by so much? It was a difficult rotation (more like a decision tree) in order to even come close to competing, and was very gear dependent. And thats just to be able to not look foolish compared to other dps classes. Congrats on making ferals obsolete, again. As someone that has been involved in a few games playtesting and feedback, if you want to switch the playstyle of a certain class (that should be a community vote, IMO) either figure it out ahead of time and dont change the class to be the thing you dont want it to be, or replace that same power level with something else. Just flat nerfing a class isnt good for continued growth. Especially when you buff the classes that the nerfed classes are chasing. You make you bias clear.
So no PvP changes… have to PVE to even stand a chance in PvP. So dumb. Huge L

We also confirmed only got 9 reals from the run. Kara Crypts definitely had bonus reals, we had 5 per boss dropping if I remember correctly. Plus Curio boxes if you did the attune. Something seems wrong with DFC.
Patch notes here are showing 30% for Balefire Bolt but is reflecting 25% in-game still.
As a Mage main I agree with the sentiment that evocation is a boring way to play , however I think this could’ve been done better.
Coming into SoD at the start of P7 I thoroughly enjoyed gearing up to a point where I was decked out in naxx gear and really felt my characters power level grow , with these nerfs I feel like a wet noodle in SE and its abit of a buzz kill which sucks because I do genuinely love the new content

To Whoever Signed Off on This at Blizzard,
Serious question—what’s the IQ requirement to work on the Season of Discovery team? Is there a cap? Like, if you’re too smart, are you disqualified?
Because I’m struggling to believe anyone with basic pattern recognition or a functioning prefrontal cortex could be responsible for some of these decisions. This isn’t rocket science. You’re not managing nuclear launch codes. You’re balancing a 20-year-old game with a few twists. And yet, somehow, it feels like every patch is a coin flip between “mildly questionable” and “did anyone even test this?”
So before I assume this is all intentional chaos, I figured I’d ask: is the bar on the floor or have you buried it underground?
Looking forward to whatever excuse gets cooked up next.
