Judging by how the Cata patches are rolling, they probably just started working on PTR/p4 within the last couple of days.
If they just started, which I highly doubt, then SoD is dead in the water. nobody is going to wait until July or August for p4.
Well, the Cata patches have been rolling but are starting to slow down, and it’s the same team that works on it. Just an assumption they’ve been pushing Cata patches and since those are slowing, they’re starting work on SoD.
SoD is dead, killed by Blizzard.

One of my biggest issues has been the complete domination of Cataclysm news and updates vs SoD. SoD players are being trampled with all this exciting, interesting, cared-for content for Cataclysm. It’s almost as if there’s a directive that SoD must remain silent to let Cata shine and get players playing.
I disagree with Aggrend, starvation is worse than breadcrumbs.

By then, there will simply be too many new and fresh (and honestly better) options for people to want to come back to SoD.
Most of my gaming circle was always planning to jump ship for FFXIV when the expansion hits.
I don’t blame them. Regardless of how you feel about it as an MMO, the polish and QA has always been there. The only mess people will encounter are the login queues as masses rush to it.

Just release the content and keep hotfixing classes, we’re pissed now.
This aged poorly didn’t it? The vast majority of the sod population had quit at the time you called this a lie, and now the vast majority of the player count at the start of phase 3 has quit. We’re so so far past 50% churn, and we haven’t even hit the 6 month wall.
