im sensing 95% chance mara and ST raids
Some of the 40 ma raids were built with mechanics I just donât think are possible to scale down to 10 man without ruining the Epiciness of the feeling of the fight. for example Câthun.
Retail forums are full of the feedback. Iâm sure they talk to each other. They need to pass the sentiment along.
40 man raids were always a mistake. Hopefully they stop at 20. 25 at the absolute most. The day 40 man raids died in retail WoW was the best day retail WoW had after TBC.
I really hope that section about 40 player raids doesnât end up being an excuse to lower the raids down to 20 players across the board. It sure read like it. I get that many guilds will have to merge. Mine is already looking to merge into another guild in preparation for 40 player content. That shouldnât mean that a truly unique aspect of Classic should be reworked.
Fact is, everyoneâŚLITERALLY EVERYONEâŚwho is playing Classic SoD KNOWS the game features 40 player runs at 60. So why not do other things like change Strat back to a 15 player run like it was originally? Or change UBRS back to what it was before it was nerfed into the ground in later Vanilla patches?
The truly disheartening thing about this post is that SoD has been so much fun. The new raid content, the new gear, the runes. All of it. And I have literally been playing thinking how much 40 player content is going to be fun to do once we get there. Now? I am unsure whether I will resub without additional assurances. I literally feel like Lucy just pulled the football up while I was trying to kick it.
Reputation needs to be more attainable for alts. Exalted in WSG and AB is such a slog for even just one character.

These seem like some really aggressive changes to be making at this point.
People who have spent countless hours leveling alts just had all that time memeâd on, and people who already bought mounts wont get that gold returned.
Maybe the Discovererâs Delight exp buff for 25-39 should only apply once youâve already leveled a character to 40.
You didnât really get screwed. You paid extra, but you also had the advantage of having a fast moving mount X amount of time before tons of other players who canât seem to make any gold. Same goes for rep/supply turn ins, etc.
You still reaped rewards early which is an advantage.
Hey, my vote is scrap 40 man raiding and focus on the smaller stuff at 60. But just giving my opinion! Thank you for the communication.
Oh this sounds nice⌠More pve! We also have plenty of glorious pve on Retail with various different difficulty levels.

Make all raids 10-man and weâll talk, weâre not interested in merging with another guild to do new content.
Are you scaling down the amount of trash thats in molten core, while increasing the rep at the same time? There is ALOT of trash in MC thats designed for 40man raids Along with the boss fights, will Gar/baron have 20 little rock adds Around him and only have 1 tank to pick them up? what about fights that require multiple tanks solely Because of the increasing amount of damage some boss adds gain because of the death of their friends during the encounter? Again ALOT OF TRASH is designed to be handled with 40man raids, where 20man would have a rough time or continually wipe.
IMO they were always approachable and easy to complete, the biggest issue im seeing from all of this is the retail raid mentality in mythic, if 1-3 people die its a wipe as you wont meet damage checks/healer checks/tank checks compared to having 20 players die and your still able to kill the boss, it would just take longer.
Just like what were seeing in Gnomer as of right now, on the last 2 bosses.
I dont mind the changes, as im a mythic raider and i find all this content to be disgustingly easy, but i cant say the same for the other players.

Please make shadow/Aff locks competitive with fire/destro locks

Please eliminate most worldbuffs. Having 1 from the most recent raid and 1 from DMF is enough.

clearly we dont matter to them. this is a retail move. Aggrend doesnt care, heâs catering to the lowest common denominator. They didnt learn the lesson of Retail, which is if something is too easy to obtain, it ceases to have value, and players wont strive for it any longer.
Not used to seeing blizzard value my time, very happy with these changes.
Can get off my butt on some alts now.
