Can you give us an stv ranged weapon now that you made the melee aspect of the class completely garbage ?
Hunter and Mage both have specs doing way more damage than Ret is, so I fail to see your point. Not to mention that insinuating bias on Aggrend’s part is hilarious when if you actually knew anything about his position on past class changes you’d realize that he was actually one of the devs against the Wrath Ret buffs (for example) despite the fact he plays Ret himself.
Edit: and apparently Aggrend actually plays Boomy in SoD, not Ret, so even less reason to make unfounded accusations about him “favoring paladins” for some reason.

What is with the f*ing hunter nerfs man. Melee is just barely viable because of how the runes are right now; One missed proc and we’re sitting ducks. Mongoose bite and Carve are completely useless and Flanking Strike is sitting on 30s cd. We have no defensive cds, no way reliably close gaps, no way to break stuns/slows, and no other crowd control. The entire viability of a melee hunter is that we can (with good rng) burst people down before they can get their array of fears/stuns/slows off on us. Dropping damage by 30% means that warriors (charge/intimidating shout), rogues (endless stunlocks and evasion), Pallys (stuns, bubble shield, heals) can just close gap and wreck us. If you want to make a new spec viable then let it be viable, hardly anyone has any gear yet and when they do every other class is going to scale way harder than hunters because of hunters’ stty stat scaling and then what? Damage dropped by 30% and capped scaling means that it will be totally pointless. Left as HoL bots since all the ranged runes are complete garbage.

the point is to give you a guaranteed spell hit after hitting your target with a 2h. if they wanted to give +10% hit, they would have just done so.
So are you guys keeping the hunter STV epic bow a strength proc after you gut melee to not usable? so hunters dont even get a epic weapon thats not troll?
Yeah, I guess people are tired of missing lava burst. I still think it could be a typo since people also asked for more hit rate and it would match the other rune. But whatever, either way far fromOP or a major threat to the balance.
Love this, absolutely makes no sense when there are other classes doing better than most. But hunters keep getting singled out for nerfs.
I said my point, you have two other perfectly amazing specs. And while he might be playing boomkin now he was playing ret last patch and is the face of the paladin class for wow.
Wrath ret also doesn’t deserve to be where it is, a 5 year old could get 99s on a ret paladin you literally just line up buttons inorder of priority and hit them when it lights up and you’re #1/2 in damage the same level of skill that people complain melee hunter had.
This seems pretty good to me all melee and ranged hunter 10% buff on hardest bosses. Melee hunter nerfed 15% (about 5% on hardest bosses if you avg it out). Druids getting more healing and mana and QOL. Rogue tank getting a more viable set up. Idk what all the whining is about but lets see where this gets us looks pretty nice.
