Well on the bright side Rogue Tanks don’t exist in SoD, despite them being advertised. There’s just a few slightly tank-themed runes that make rogues an embarrassment.

2 of those runes share the same spot for spriest, so this is hardly a buff.
The mana issues could also be fixed by hidden aura buffs they could change in later phases if they were an issue later that are only present in SoD.
I find it hard to believe they can’t implement a SoD only hidden mechanism that changes individual spells as well though. They managed to change how pally bubble functions in HC individually.

If my math is right, Starsurge will now deal 161-197 damage (was 57-70) every 6 seconds. Not bad.

Right now you can Sunfire + Moonfire (and upcoming starsurge) and shift into cat with 30% movement in talent when you have 1400+ Mana. You also have Nature’s Grasp incase they actually get near you to boot.
So… sorry “bud”. My druid is 25 and adding Starsurge is going to make it even more comical.

For BFD, if they are seeing such discrepancies in how casters are performing compared to Melee, they really should not lock this to the world buff and put it as a buff like the % buffs you get in ICC in Wrath. Only within that raid.
Having to get a world buff to be competitive is insane. If your group wipes you are screwed
