Please consider adding screech 2 to Carrodin and eventually increasing screech threat generation with BM rune. That way hunters can also finally tank because right now it’s a gimmick that only works on single target. Then sure you can nerf health and armor.
I certainly didnt get banned for anything such as a discussion on world buffs. Sorry having an opinion that differs from you offends you.
This isn’t true. There’s multiple logs of top 10 fury warriors using non-raid 2h and even one DW log in the t10 on aku’mai. 2h Fury was a thing in classic too btw, early on at bad gear levels. Not sure why you’re mentioning DW being bad.
Leave hunter pets alone. Thanks.
if a BM hunters pet isnt capable to tank or do damage, then WTF is the point of BM ? youve already gutted viability of other specs.
So you are going to GUT hunter pet’s?
What about the fact that Holy Paladins literally have 1 rune that is actively for them Beacon of Light, and it’s ridiculous mana cost of 35% base mana with a 1 minute up time, when penance and prayer of mending are like 15% base cost.
I frankly couldnt care less about your pvp. all it does is cause people to whine and moan. “oh my spec sucks, oh this spec is OP”
if it were up to me id remove it from the game so youd all go ruin some other game.
also, seal of martyrdom being twistable would be a less consistent nuke in pvp than divine storm is, which is on the same slot. you clearly dont know what youre talking about anyways
Hunters will never be allowed to be good…
Loving the constant tuning updates! Thanks Blizzard. Too bad people just complain about every single thing instead of celebrating the good changes that you guys have been doing. Keep up the good work!
It’s not that your opinion is different, it’s that you want to split hairs that are irrelevant.
Me: “Casters struggle on Kelris and should have this buff persist through death and limit it to BFD”
You: “Hurr durr gitguddon’tdie”
Same old same old you.
managing mana is fine, but spells cost too much at our current levels. Going OOM after casting 10 fireballs is one thing during leveling, but how are we supposed to do meaningful DPS at all if we run out of mana in 30 seconds?
Level 24 Fireball costs 140 mana, but level 60 Fireball costs 395 mana. At 60 we also have mana gems, we have regen from spirit, and a much bigger mana pool. We don’t have mana gems or any regen from spirit at 25.
All they need to do is lower the cost of low level spell ranks. That’s a minor change that doesn’t break anything. It has even less impact than these runes do.
AFK in Thunder Bluff or wherever Alliance turn it in and you’ll get it eventually.
Looks like they spent 15mins in a meeting room and threw out some ideas and then just went with them.
I really wonder if any dev plays caster dps that raids regularly because these changes are so far from hitting the mark on what we needed.
It’s not a minor change. They said in the recent community council chat that they can’t change baseline spells without it affecting the rest of Era servers (normal era, hardcore, etc).
Definitely never said “get good”
You realize melee lose their buffs too? And healers? Thats the point… Buffs arent supposed to last forever, that doesnt make any sense. They are the “hardcore” portion of this game that make them fun, risky, and a rush. If you have no risk then whats the point.
They missed a great opportunity here to make rogues even more boring and one dimensional.
“teacher, you forgot our homework.”
It seems like considerations for PVP are secondary to PVE with the primary concern the issues with hunter pets. Most casters seem overtuned in PVP if you’re playing melee DPS with the primary argument against it being that melee classes should simply re-roll.
Perhaps you might not be aware, but just in case, every physical dps does nearly double the damage of casters WITHOUT the buff. So if they die, it doesn’t matter. They’ll still deal double damage compared to casters.
This buff essentially would just help them not end up on the ‘not meta’ list. Without it, they are exponentially at a disadvantage compared to physical damage dealers.
So yea, you right. It’s a risk. Except the risk is they go back down to dealing half damage vs Kelris.
