Honestly if aggrend and the team refuse to utilize the company provided and paid for forums and avenues of community interaction in favour of using twitter and living in their echo chamber, fire them. They are clearly actively ignoring large swathes of feedback.
The lack of any kind of change to Survival after making such a stink about wanting to make it more appealing is definitely a little weird.
Theyre trying to make SV melee viable by nerfing BM melee.
Affliction currently sims higher than Destruction. However, that is only if you can use curse of agony, have someone else use demonic pact, and have Zila Gular. There are too many obstacles to playing as Affliction. Also, ISB needs to be redesigned.
All those conditions will never be met unfortunately.
I should also add that they need to make Demonic Pact raid-wide like it originally was in Wrath. It being party-wide is incredibly bad design.

Yeah but melee hunters aren’t very good in pvp either. If you’re a pvp hunter you’re ranged.
It is a time honored tradition of the devs.
Hunter pets are not even that strong, but still nerfed.
Sure melee hubter was doing good damage, but it was already falling off just from scaling issues.
Just at a glance, its around around a 10% nerf to melee hubter
I probably will try this out and be more of a melee weaving hunter by using chimera shot instead of BM rune. Start at ranged with a sting and then chimera them, arcane shot and if they get close, switch to raptor strike.
I love seeing hunters get nerfed.
Thank god I didn’t bother this phase. I was tempted with hunters performing strong. As usual they nerf hunters before they allow natural scaling to even things out once everyone gets gear. PvP is still a crapshow.
I think I’m done with SoD for good, I’ll be interested to see how 60 plays out, but I think I have a general idea of how it will go.
God forbid hunter actually be number one damage as the only class that only has DAMAGE without getting a thousand nerfs. I feel like when you guys have a plumbing issue you guys call an ac repair man, that’s how smooth brain it is.
Warriors are already significantly ahead of hunters on every fight.
DOG WATER wouldn’t even consider this a buff no warlocks is using invocation over synergy or shadow and flame.
Yeah, this dev team is true amateur hour.
Your friendly neighborhood shadow priest now has access to those curses so you don’t have to apply them.
Oh, you’re a parse monkey. Fun fact, melee and casters do very similar damage unbuffed. With world buffs, casters get minor damage increase, and melee damage literally doubles.
