They really need to add some kind of global modifier of (Damage against other players reduced by 35%) or something thats just always on, and modify it per class. That way they can tune PvE and PvP effectively.

shaman tanks are running 21/20 to use Lava burst, but now that we need to run stormstrike to get mental dex we cant run those talents anymore

We need PvP mitigation right about now. Things are already wild in bg’s. It’s going to get even worse.
Ummm definitely not a buff no. Ele shamans are now losing about 200 SP with essentially nothing to replace it on ST.
Ele sham discord channel is currently seeing if running Lava Lash is better than Lava Burst… thats how busted MD is / was. Its better to punt on our signature ability just to have MD back…

the extension on MD doing mean anything, it already had a 100% uptime for warden/enhance, and sure burn will be an increase for ele on trash, but still a huge nerf to single target for them
Shadow buff seems unnecessary. It’s lower on the meters for DPS in pve but it brings so much to the table as well as being half a healer. That’s why we take them, pure DPS shouldn’t be the end-all-be-all for balancing classes. Lots bring amazing utility, that’s a big thing that makes classic wow what it is.
It’s a specific build that specializes in melee crit rating as well as Lava Burst damage, which is our hardest hitter. It ran Mental Dex, allowing our Attack Power to make our Spell damage stronger. Had great synergy.
Just reduce shadow priest damage in player combat to offset the changes
Sw death was nerfed into the ground. If it’s doing 75% of your hp, you’re not wearing any gear.
If I have to twist on my Paladin again for all of SoD again I am gonna shelve my paladin for dps. It was unique but I have no desire to repeat it.
