How are these getting buffs?? Do they not know they classes are already broken in PvP…
2 Hand Shaman needs a BUFF :Add a new 2 hander only rune for the wrist slot plz! None of the wrist slot abilities synergize well with 2 hand spec and they are very boring passive abilities with no negligible dmg increase or use in pvp or pve that benefits 2 hand spec.
Heres my idea/suggestion for the rune for it to have a Ranged Skill & Passive effect :
Ricochet- Passive Effect: Your FB/FT/WF Imbues your 2hander weapon with Frostbrand, flametounge and WF at the same time.
Ranged Ability: Ricochet : Hurls your weapon up to 30 yards striking the enemy target for 150% melee dmg and dealing 15% of the physical damage to all enemies within 15 yards and when it returns buffs you, increasing your WindFury Proc chance by 30% for 10 seconds. 10 Second CD. WF Cannot proc off Ricochet (frost brand and Flametounge can) Proc only stays active with 2 handers.
thats a fun and interactive spell/ability thats not OP but at the same time has its uses in pve +pvp
good stop balancing everything around pvp. dont like getting 2 shotted in the openworld? dont roll pvp servers then

… No crap… Simply cause it’s over powered -.- We have no options. But this entire threads not talking about mutilate now is it? No. Stop commenting your worthless comments and wasting time. Main Gauche is clearly meant for rogue tanks. yet we cannot use it due to Mutilate being too broken. This saber slash tweak does not help us in the slightest.
The best part is PvE is so simple to balance around if they actually cared to.
Shadowpriests aren’t doing enough damage in raids? Well make the raid NPCs take more damage from shadow. Problem solved. But nah, lets just increase their damage overall so pvp is broken and unplayable.
If they’re so lazy and worried that somehow this would make warlocks or any other class that uses shadowdamage just dominate PvE then you can go even harder. Just put an invisible flat damage reduction/buff that you only see in the raid instance. That can nerf or buff certain classes so they’re all doing competitive damage. Adjust the numbers of that buff/nerf as needed till the sims align it.
But for the love of god stop doing absurd BS like bringing a jackhammer in the place of a chisel. Overloading the entire classes dps in every form of content because you don’t like how someone is doing 50 dps lower than the other class in content that everyone can clear as a grey parser with no worldbuffs because its so brainless and easy and relies more on mechanics than dps. The best guilds in the game killing raid bosses in 30 seconds, while medicore ones can do it in 1min, 1.5min, 2mins at most.
Focusing on PvE is not going to make this game stay healthy. All that caters to is a crowd that only logs on to raid, then when they get their BiS maybe they do a super parse run and then never log on again. When you use PvE as a tool to obtain PvP gear you have people playing forever because PvP is fun and you’re always playing against real active people. And it gives you a much better way to flex on someone when you kill them in game vs having to go to some third party website to gloat about a parse.
Too bad the flex is meaningless since in SoD you win PvP at the character select screen more than actually gearing and playing your class well. As unbalanced as vanilla was it still at least felt like other classes had a chance to fight against anyone else, that’s how you got people getting famous for making gimped specs look good. Now its like oh you’re a gimped class you die in two GCDs while the enemy player sits in an invulnerability cloud laughing as you wither away.
If youre letting an ele shaman hard cast on you thats a you problem brother.
It’s just bizarre at this point. I don’t ask for a healing spec as a warlock. So what if priests don’t have some super DPS spec for raids. Raiders and parsers are this much coddled that SoD devs are perfectly willing to further break PVP just to make things even better for them?
Man it’s just a mess. No wonder retail is so bad. They don’t know what made classic tick. All they want to do is reproduce the same toxic raid logging parse culture over here and keep PvP a side novelty for their precious parsing raid loggers.
Hey Microsoft, get some devs that maybe don’t think retail is the perfect way to design MMOs. Then have them make classic seasons. These guys don’t know anything other than retail philosophy.

Yeah, I don’t know why this is so difficult. Maybe they just want PVP players frustrated so they’ll be demanding resilience again. It’s just beyond me at this point. This isn’t difficult to do.

50 levels and 2 hand shaman is still not viable? Why would you tell the shaman community that you heard them, and 2 hand shaman was going to be a thing? At this point I am under the impression that it was to get a large portion of the people who want to play shaman as 2 hand to waste months of sub fees to only find out at 60 2 hand shaman was never going to be a thing.

Exactly. That even used to be a thing. Like oh look, a class that is in very high demand for groups isn’t doing as much damage as a pure dps class? That’s the tax of getting to be able to heal your group and play other roles. You were never meant to be a pure dps. Even as a shadowpriest, you are meant to drop shadow if the need arises and heal allies in PvP or PvE.
All a rogue can do is damage. If you can’t consistently top damage as a pure DPS class then what good are you to the rest of the group? Especially when you have other dps classes that bring valuable raid buffs that make everyone else stronger. Now we got to worry about healing classes that can just swap to shadowform spec at the press of a button to embarrass us in every aspect of the game. Then they got the power to go back to healing spec if a fight needs more healers, or if a healer has to quit and be replaced.
But yeah lets worry about them having barely suboptimal DPS when they have an entire half of the game they are dominating in. Running around like gods, getting to pick who lives and who dies on a whim. While group leaders across the entire server scramble around to convince you to join their groups.
Fix ranged hunter scaling issues.
Give rap scaling to serpent sting and fire traps, reduce chimera shot serpent sting damage to 15-20% to keep its damage about the same as before serpent sting got damage scaling.
Focusing on PVP isn’t either. Know what one of the lowest done things is in retail? PVP.
Then they need to make it clear that WoW is no longer a pvp game, and say that out loud so all can hear, and we will go play something else.
Tell a large section of the community that you aren’t interested in giving them interesting, fun balanced content.
