Season of 10 man raids

Yea I’m very stuipd and the genre is so dead what else are you gonna play? Retail and ff14 that are barley even mmos and closer to lobby games? Pay to win 200 apm Korean games?

You can play project 99, swg:emu or classic wow dude. Pray for a fresh ff11 I guess?

I like walking in there with an army. I hope they keep 40 man raids, at least the classic ones.

Good. 40 man raids are awful. If you disagree, you’re probably in the >1% of players who are demented enough to think this way.

Most of us do NOT want 40 man raids. We want raids that are cool, epic and interesting, but not in a way where the difficulty of the raid lies in RECRUITING, PEOPLE MANAGEMENT, MANBABY COMPLAINING and 15 pieces of loot per 40 people/week.

10 person raids are perfect for lvl 25, how would you even fit 40 ppl in BFD? I’m assuming that the larger raids will come when we hit max lvl with some new bosses and mechanics… jesus your only lvl 25.

This is actually an interesting point I like the concept, how would u determine what loot drops with what amount of players

If they did a flex raid 10-40, I’d propose 1 item for every 10 players in the raid. Some might say, 4 items from each boss is too much for 40 people, but this is SoD.

We don’t want MC/BWL/AQ40/Naxx lasting too long anyways, the era servers are there for that. Who cares if we gear faster on a 1 week lockout. We want to get through that old content twice as fast to get to the new level 60 raid at some point.

“I’m the majority. Reeeeeee you must listen to me our you’re stinky boomer. Reeeeeeeeeeees. EVERYONE BUT 1% WANTS WHAT I WANT. Change NOW!!!”

Retail cope and seethe should be bottled and sold as a fuel source.

I actually prefer 10-man raids, it’s so inconvenient and obnoxious to put together a 25 or 40 man group. Plus communication is easier. 40-man’s most of all are a waste of time imho.

I am actually genuinely shocked every time someone says this, I always had a blast in bigger raid groups. i guess 10 mans are easier to pug, but that’s it. big raids with my guild were always the core of wow for me. what else are you playing the game for?

I mean, I don’t hate the 40-man raids… I just find them to be so inconvenient to get together and I tend to prefer less people in groups with less voices in the room.

I’m playing the game to raid and PVP. 10-man raids are just vastly superior to me.

They don’t join guilds dia and from the stories on this board if they do, they either join ones more mismanaged then seems possible or they “leave” when people call them out for lack of commitment. I’ve explained this to you at length. They pug and do sr or gdkp. There’s a reason only that subsect of players is always the ones kvetching about gdkp being a nightmare, 40 mans being a waste of time and more loot neededing to be handed out.

They’ve never been in a long term guild where they got to know everyone and had 40 people always there at raid time. So it was a nightmare for them.

No everyone cares about joining a large raiding guild, plus 10-mans offer convenience in the lesser number of players required. Less voices in the room means less chaos… also take into account that not everyone has convenient raiding availability. You seem to be making a bunch of assumptions… some just prefer less people in the raid and that seems to bother you. Why?

personally i’m just scared that the opinion will win out and we won’t get any more 25-mans or they will try to shrink the level 60 raids or something…

I can see them bringing a 25-man out or even a 40-man, come level 60. I hope if they do they make it a spectacle.

So you fundamentally don’t enjoy vanilla? And shouldn’t be trying to raid? There’s actually a game with the changes you want, you can try it and see exactly how it turned out!

Only retail players would join a community where the way things play are clearly laid out, realize they wouldn’t enjoy it but play anyway and the have the audacity to demand they change for them even though they joined an existing group. If you can’t assimilate, there’s only one thing to do

Unlikely, blizzard listened to the vocal minority on the forums because they screeched the loudest for 20 years. Active players didn’t post because they were playing the game…

There where no points in dissension back then, there are now. Kinda why they can’t deal with people rejecting their opinions.

shame.

i was hoping for big, epic raids.

oh well. I’ll still do it a couple times.

:man_facepalming:

Where does this logic come from? Who said I don’t enjoy vanilla? Even though, this isn’t vanilla. Also why shouldn’t I raid? I wanted to raid, so I did. You aren’t making a point here, you’re just making yourself look bad.

This is pure copium and assumption, on top of an already bad attitude.

What’s your problem?

15 years of blood elf avatars demanding changes for them personally that ruined the game. What’s yours? Lack of social skills making it harder to connect with a group of people?

What changes have I demanded? You’re just making assumptions and looking bad in the process. I’m curious about where this is even coming from… why are you so angry? You seem to want SoD to be vanilla… it’s not.
