Sorry, to clarify, which gear? the base honor/conq sets will be available at some point (usually the 2nd or 3rd patch of the next expansion) but you wont be able to buy anything in prepatch and all elite sets/weps will be unobtainable forever.

Is that for real though? seems kinda kek to not just put the conq gear in for honor purchase during the prepatch. like what else are people gona pvp for
Ya. ALL seasonal gear ends at the end of the season. Non-elite pvp sets they add back in later for marks of honor; usually 1-2 expansions later in a mid patch.
same thing as pve; just to try out changes and play the game!

been playing classic prepatches for too long i guess. they put the final season set into honor each time, which was kinda sick tbh. seems a bit derp for retail to suddenly make it impossible to gear a current power level character on prepatch in pvp.
