Can we get a clarification on what happens to our arena points when the season ends? Does it get converted to honor? Are we able to still purchase season 1 gear at a discounted rate after the season end like we did in 2021?
So that means after May 4th, we will be able to spend remaining arena points on Season 1 gear at a discounted rate without rating requirements until they change to Season 2 gear on May 19th?
Just for visibility rank one title is calculating at top 0.08% of players instead of 0.1% of players as intended.
Currently in NA 2V2 for example, we can determine the player pool to be roughly 80,000 based on glad and duelist slots. 80000 x 0.005 =400, the number of glad slots. 80000 x 0.03=2400, the number of duelist slots. However, if we take 80000*0.001 we should get 80 slots… but we look at ladder and it’s 64 (current number of r1 slots) which means it’s calculating at 0.08%.
All numbers can be verified via sites that pull the API data, like ironforge pro or xunamate.
This is true across all regions and brackets. It’s broken. Please fix.
Effectively there are significantly fewer rank-1 slots than there really should be.
Bummer that Anniversary TBC Season 01 is only lasting 11 weeks.
OG TBC Season 01 was 20 weeks.
TBC Classic Season 01 was 14 weeks.
Anniversary TBC is going way too fast. Blizzard needs to resolve Anniversary TBC into TBC Era allowing character copies to stay in TBC Era and move forward onto Anniversary WotLK.
For TBC Era, Arena Season 04 needs to be on a rotating 14 week ladder cycle, one week between TBC Era Seasons.
He has been and always will be totally useless, they could get a vibe coder to use Anthropic and create a AI Agent to generate the post he puts out there and save the company Thousands.
The AI bot would probably do a lot better at communicating with the Community than the actual “Community Manager” does as well.
Typically added in Wotlk in the Ulduar phase. It would be a good change that nobody complains about free those poor dreamscythers, but this is blizzard we’re talking about they can’t even be arsed to find how to change the date of offseason so it has to be 2 weeks despite last TBC classic it being only 1 for season 1 due to it being a shorter season (13 weeks)
So now we have 11 weeks of arena with 2 weeks of offseason with arena being closed 20% of the time Blizzard can’t even pretend to care.
