So, I can select a dungeon and look for other players to join me? How does this work exactly? Will the game search for certain types of players, like a healer and someone that does damage? I’d like to try this. I’ve been focusing on leveling and not doing dungeons because I don’t know anyone I could ask to do them with me. Plus, I guess I’ve been a chicken $$$$ to try them LOL I’ve heard you can level up faster and get unique gear/weapons while doing dungeon. Will someone shed some light on the subject?
You can use the dungeon finder to find a group for you. Default key is “i”. If you’re entering the queue on your hunter, the system will automatically group you together with four other people. Two DPS, one healer, and one tank. Keep in mind that this process isn’t instant, and can sometimes take quite a while to find a group. You can feel free to keep questing while you’re waiting in queue.
Once a group has been created it will confirm whether you would like to enter the dungeon, or decline the group. There is no penalty for declining at this point. Once you and all 4 other people confirm, it will teleport you to the dungeon and you can get started.
I’d suggest letting your teammates know that you are a new player and haven’t done the dungeon before, as most people playing through lower level dungeons are veterans leveling up a new character. This will save both you and them a lot of frustration if you’re all on the same page from the beginning. Keep in mind that even if you do this, some people will still not be the friendliest players you’ve ever met. Just try not to get frustrated and do your best to follow along with whatever your tank starts attacking. You’ll get the hang of it pretty quick I’m sure. Best of luck and have fun!

In addition, pick random dungeon when you queue in the dungeon finder for the extra rewards, and make sure you click your role as dps. If you ever abandon a dungeon group while your inside you get a penalty and can’t queue again for 30 minutes.
After the dungeon is complete, a good trick is to immediately teleport out of the dungeon and back in before everyone leaves. This puts you at the start where you can turn in the quests.
I don’t think you need to say your new unless your healing or tanking. As a dps in leveling dungeons, you just run with the group and attack after the tank pulls a mob. Lastly, over a week ago I provided you the link to get your artifact weapon. I noticed your still not using it at level 104. I would make that your top priority.
The best time to do dungeons for faster exp was from 15-90. I know dungeons were slower than questing from 100-120 but not sure if anything changed. Legion invasions assaults are great from 100-110. Google “legion invasion timer” to see the schedule. That said, you definitely need dungeon experience before you hit 120. Most people spend most of their time in groups in the end game. Dungeons, raids, warfronts, island expeditions, etc.
