  • [SOLVED] both of my monitors had energy saving mode enabled.

  • I’m having an issue with my screen dimming while in game. I just recently built a new pc but it also did it on my old system from 2016 as well. It doesn’t matter if the game is full screen or windowed. It doesn’t go away when I minimize WoW, even windows stays dimmed. It lasts for maybe 15-30 seconds. It seems to be when I’m entering a new area, going from inside to outside or visa versa. I also really noticed it and can duplicate it in Isle of Conquest going in the base towers and flying into the Ringing Deeps from Dorn. I’m using two 1080p monitors 100hz but set to 60hz. Only the screen with WoW dims, not the second. I can move WoW to the other and the dimming follows Wow.

Is Windows night light/blue light filter turned on for that monitor? Removing blue will make everything look dull.

Solved, My monitors had an energy saving mode that was enabled.

Thanks for the reply. It is not the night light feature. I just checked and that is off for both monitors. The problem I’m having is more brightness related, the color stays the same.
