I decided to start leveling another DK, and I noticed a hearthstone called ‘Scourgestone’ in my bag. I don’t recall seeing these before (which doesn’t mean they weren’t there though), it says ‘Use: Returns you to the Trade District. May only be used while a servant of the Lich King.’
I was thinking ‘Yay, finally an intro skip!’ but no such luck, the hearthstone doesn’t seem to do anything. But I’m curious. Did we always have this and did it ever work? Or is it new and there is hope that it will work eventually? I even tried looking it up on Wowhead both by name and item ID, but couldn’t find anything.
It’s a hearthstone that ports you to Acherus during the DK starting zone. I think it’s always been there since Wrath.
You’ll lose it after you leave the zone.
It didn’t work at all when I tried to use it, just gave me the message about not being able to leave until I finish the intro.
And the location it’s set to is the Trade District in Stormwind, not Acherus…?
