There is a relatively small (compared to raiding) but dedicated PVP community in SOD that is rapidly dying off due to lack of things to do. Basically all there is to do is Arathi Baisin.
I can speak for many players that became frustrated that SOD was known to not have a large focus on PvP, so we all spent months and months crafting our own builds and play styles and created our own fun, only for many of the builds and play-styles to be completely thrashed with the blanket changes making them unviable, while at the same time nothing being added to actually participate with in PVP.
That combined with scarlet enclave being difficult with rough loot distribution, people are a month into their class being thrown to the bottom of the tier ladder in PVP and still having received 0 loot from the newest raid.
in addition to that, some classes (like rogue and enhance shaman) are still completely reliant on tier 2 set bonuses or their class can’t function at all in PVP. The blanket nerfs IMO did accomplish one thing- which was to make fights last longer. But it also widened the gap between class counters astronomically to the point where it’s no longer a counter but not possible to beat.
Hybrid classes have pulled so far away from classes that don’t have self healing. High armor classes are unbeatable if you’re a pure physical damage class if things are equal in terms of gear and skill.
There is a lot of issues with PVP right now. We understand the focus of SOD is not and has not ever been PvP. But most of us would be fine with the issues if we just had more to do, or more gear to theory craft with and potentially find workarounds to the insane imbalances.
We don’t need a lot of dedication to class balance and nerfs/buffs, we just need tools and opportunity via PvP gear to come up with our own solutions.
As of now, a huge portion of the PvP community is looking at months of scarlet enclave to even attempt to craft a viable build for their class, and it might not even be possible after doing that since a lot of classes new tier won’t help with PvP and other classes will become insanely strong with it.
Give us options for PvP gear and things to participate in! I’d even settle for set bonus enchant (like the shoulder runes) that ONLY work in PvP.
There’s a lot of low effort and non-time consuming options that could be implemented that would allow players to fix the imbalances themselves. As well as a ton for already established things from future expansions that made PvP better like WSG having a time limit, allowing to que against your own faction if not enough players are queuing, being able to que anywhere in the world, AV being the best honor farm, experience given in battle grounds.
Just give us the tools that are easy to implement and we will run with it!

personally, I think one nice quality of life change would be to let us exchange BG tokens for reals, rep tokens, or bloodmoon coins. I want to pvp sometimes but I can’t justify spending the time not farming.

When we gonna see the nerfs on Voss and last boss and when are we going to get ICC buff that y’all said was happening 
a lot of people are quiting sod because of auction prices and not fun dying 20 times trying prog cause one shot mechanics

Where are the execution sentence nerfs? alliance has an easier time dealing with that compared to horde cause of sac+bubble

Great change. Don’t add pvp content and focus on making SE fun and enjoyable for everyone. With such a small team making new pvp content would take to much time and hinder the work need for the real game in sod pve. Fixing SE should be #1 prio

Yeah, it’s a relaxed and well paying job where I have time to dismantle a lying sob who claims to have quit a long time ago yet has been posting throughout April and now May on the SOD board.
Oh boy what am I in for, yet another jealous remark about my job accompanied by a silly face emoji?
Too little too late. 1 extra chalice PIECE, an extra NON tier piece that NO ONE wants, and 1 jostled fragment. Not enough to get me to keep spending time on that CRAP RAID! Naxx I always made enough gold to pay for consumes. SE is just a huge gold sink with no reward. IDGAF about the 1 piece of a chalice that will take 3 weeks to get tier as the ONLY way of getting gear. Hey lets add “Sanctified” to all the gear in SE and NOT use ANY of it at all for ANYTHING. Raid should have been brought out with 4 different levels of hardness as well as , idk making that “sanctified” label ACVTUALLY be meaningful and not just some flavor text you put on the gear.

As far as we know, there is not much happening after SE, so improving the PVP experience is a good idea to keep players invested.
