I mean theres pretty good evidence to suggest no leveling world buffs will be available at 60. Real people lean towards an evidence-based suggestion over whatever ones imagination whips up.

Welcome to the game, and ignore the clowns going “pvp happened on pvp server”. Getting ganked by 10 people for trying to get an essential buff if you don’t want a grey parse is not “pvp”. You can not care about WBs all you want but then you become someone nobody wants to invite.
My solution to all this would be to just make the WBs not cleared on death or a purge. Then everyone can pvp all they want with the world buffs and go back to having fun with the game. You are still probably going to get ganked, but then you will at least have the buff and can run away.
WBs not having the elixir treatment is a bit absurd. They are absolutely essential to parse, the most important thing you can do. You can have BiS gear, BiS enchants, all consumes, with a two button rotation that is impossible to mess up, but no WBs and the highest you can see is maybe a green parse. Because everyone who’s killing a boss has WBs.
It also made me not even want to bother to get them the first couple weeks raiding. When you ironically need them the most just to even prog. Because one wipe and they’re all gone. So I was getting greys until my raid finally got no wipe clears 2-3 weeks into the content, then it was actually worth getting WBs and suddenly I’m epic.

I don’t even get all these “pvp gunna happen” comments. There is nothing engaging or fun for either faction as the DMF is today.
I agree with OP to implement two changes for DMF - neutral PVP location and remove 4 hour timer.
Big no to all of this, if I can’t camp DMF then how can a get to rank 7 as Alliance. We all know it’s not BGs
I’m having a lot of fun RIPing 4 hours and making people runback for 3 minutes.
easiest fix to all of this is making world buffs persist through death.
