Then replace the Rogue Tank runes with apothecary style healing runes, throwing phials and injecting people and such.

idunno man the last thing we need is hunters throwing out 2.2k chimera shots and 1700 raptor strikes is for them to also get a massive hp boost like that one shaman rune

The good thing is you don’t need to add any HP/DR/avoidance boosts to an hypotetical tank rune because hunters can already become pretty beefy thanks to the SV talents and sky high dodge.
Increased threat, PvE crit immunity and a taunt should be enough. If needed they can tie a HP/DR buff to mongoose bite which is otherwise a completely worthless ability.
And to reduce melee dps the rune could be activated only if you have a 2h weap.
Shoulda just made mage tanks. They already do it half the time anyways. Stagger mechanic like a brewmaster.
Yes but… dont change anything, just give them a rune with more threat and armor, the stam is good with SV tree, manage agro between you and your pet (carrion birds) and thats it “”““hunter can alrdy tank””“”

I don’t trust hunt***s to DPS properly, I definitely don’t trust them to tank.
Makes more sense than Ana from overwatch healing arrows for hunter.
I thought that’s what they were doing now and they just haven’t gotten their skill up yet.
Turn Hunters into tanks so they can stop pretending they deserve #1 dps any phase all phases forever for not having one.
