Don’t like them then don’t use them.
Save the Wha…I mean Kul Tir…wait…a yes…Void Elves.
Void elves were a mistake from day one. They have no lore, no one asked for them, their hairstyles are awful, their thematic is niche, and they’re blood elves - which means they’ve betrayed their faction TWICE.
It should’ve just been high elves from the beginning. They were more popular, more versatile, better aesthetics, had established lore etc.
Oh, is that what we’re doing now Mr. Hasn’t-Even-Unlocked-Void-Elves? Let me try…
clears throat
Save the nightborne!
Their eyes are fine as is, but any new skin tones are too much. The Nightborne have barely been a race and their uniqueness would be taken away by adding anything night elf related. This is opening the flood gates to destroying them further with all the posts about asking them to be remade in the image of the generic Suramar NPC’s… Since this is part of the new allied race changes that are coming in the future, maybe Blizzard can be convinced not to do anything more with them. Why destroy a perfectly good race to appease some Night elf wanna-be’s?
Keep the Nightborne spindly! Their customization options right now are fine.

High elf and blood elf wayfarers learning like Alleria did.
That’s all.
They’re Alleria like void elves. The second generation of their race since they can’t make more through that ritual. (though I hear they’re researching that ritual).
It’s not the end of the world.
People like this have been campaigning and trolling for years now to deny others something that wouldn’t have affected them in the slightest. This -is- the end of the world, for them.
Aye, but I suspect we’ll make it through.
Why does it have to be high elves joining and learning like Alleria did? Why can’t it be that the void elves have learned to control their void abilities, thus having the ability to change their skin color? I mean, it happens randomly to them in battle, whos to say they haven’t learned to control it? Why does this have to involve high elves whatsoever?
It’s funny because when I pointed out way back in the day that there were High Elf wayfarers in Telogrus rift and said something like “Well maybe there’s no high elves left because they all turned into void elves and that’s where they came from” I was shut down by the high elf camp SO quickly saying NO THEYRE NOT BECOMING VOID ELVES IMPOSSIBLE.
and now that we’'re getting a pale skin, blue eye option, the high elf camp is trying to take over the race by asking for paladins, removal of our racials, demanding we join the Silver Covenant and all of a sudden those same high elf models in telogrus rift that they dismissed existing or being important, now mean something because it’s related to something that they want
Mostly cause we haven’t seen any particular reason to believe that they can control that and its not just a standard of their life now.
No one. In fact if we could have control over when that procs that would be lovely.
Well… They’re there. Learning already from Locus-Walker. It seem reasonable to assume they can in fact learn like Alleria and thus use that to explain the available options.
So was I.
I used to suggest this a lot. Now it’s an option and you’re entirely against it?
Silver Covenant should be looking to join void elves the way things are going.
I never dismissed them.
Thats so cool that void elves will be able to get blood elves skin color. Its going to be really awesome. Cheers to them. Should make them happy.
Alliance will be a little more colorful now. Theyll have some more skin color options. Everyone can have blood elves.
Ikr! Bless the rains!
They didn’t break anything. What kind of language is this?
This is all your opinion. Its not fact. Let the alliance have blood elves too. Its a cool enough race. No need for high elves. They have void elves and they can just give them more customization like theyre doing.
Very cool idea. No need for the naysayers, you make no sense.
They have void elves and they can just give them more customization like theyre doing.
That’s what people are asking for now, options for their Void Elf to look more like High Elves because of this supposed “High elf option”, but in doing so what do you think happens naturally to the Void elf identity?
This is a trick. The OP is really part of the Anti HE crowd.
I’m part of the “I don’t care crowd” wonder how many of us exist?
I can see op’s point. It’s likeblizz kind of ignores the void elf fanbase.
…and it might also mean that other customization options reflecting the depth of void themes (scales, transparency, chitin, white vapors, ect) might now be lost to to them.
Likely the vast majority of the player base.
The new skin options are fine, but they need void tattoos as well.
