Save the Date — The Future of Warcraft

WoW is coming to console and will have an even stronger focus on Esports.

I’m enjoying it, but unless you get everything that you want, then the xpac would be trash the just saying.

Given their acquisition, the Former is probably likelier than we realize.
That latter might also be possible.

a few days before the shadowlands expansion reveal, a lot of leaks surfaced and were confirmed during blizzcon-except Tinker class. maybe in this coming expansion? my goblin and mechagnome have been waiting.

We all know it will be a bunch of Dwagons

TIL FF was the first game to have dragons.

New expansion hype!!!

I personally don’t care what they give us. I Just want them to give us an amazing product.

So let’s go guys.

New expac hype!!! Keep up the great work everyone.

is that the name of the expansion the worlds of warcraft???

I wish I could say this got me excited, but I’m not at all hyped about the next expansion, especially with the ability to cross factions to team up coming.
Worried it’s going to be something like ‘world of hugcraft’ – where the story is poorly made up (again) and the main two factions don’t matter.

I also loved how this whole announcement was like, ‘Announcement! There will be an announcement soon™!’

*Sorry if this sounds hypercritical, I’ve just been excited for so many of the other expansions just to be let down. Cata, MoP, WoD, BFA, Shadowlands…

I’ll do what I’ve been doing since WoD, crossing my fingers for playable Saberon.
Won’t happen, I’ve accepted it for a couple expansions now, but a guy can dream.

None the less, looking forward to the info and a new expansion. I’m always excited.

I have some ideas hopefully people like and the dev team could take into consideration? I’ve had this account since 2004 and have thought largely of this. They should add a Guild Hall. This could open MANY options to the players and the guild as a whole.

  1. Guild Hall dailies: These dailies can be solo or Guild ran. Maybe they take you to older expansions with new phasing in a certain area. I think this would be a GREAT way to reuse older expansions that are rich with content but see little use. Maybe it has something to do with time walking put over a zone or something.
  2. Guild Hall currency: GHC would be obtained by either dailies or Guild achievements. This new currency would allow the Guild to purchase things for their Hall. Purchases could include furniture, merchants (food, drink, reagents, bartender), a trophy cabinet (that Maybe displays Guild achievents or new trophies the Guild can obtain), new rooms or upgrades to the Guild Hall itself, portal masters that can port you to certain relevant areas, etc. The options are endless.
  3. Miscellaneous: A more in depth training area that allows Guild members to help other Guild members work on their skill rotation and efficiency. Profession vendors where someone can request to have something made that a certain Guild member can make. Maybe an anvil or fire pit or something that allows the Guild member to use their profession at a faster rate or that requires less items to make.

I think with the potential for Alliance and Horde to become friendly, a Guild Hall could be an option to set certain guilds to allies, neutral, or enemies and the relationships could affect how they interact in the world or instances. This could maybe be an option to add reputation with other guilds for perks with them? (Not sure about that one). Lmk what you guys think! I’d LOVE to see the new expansion have a way to involve us in the older expansions. There’s so much rich content just building dust now. Thanks for reading if you made it this far!

Ah…

Announcement of an announcement! Who comes up with this nonsense?! If you have something to announce, then just ANNOUNCE IT!!!

Just because it’s World of TimeGate doesn’t mean we need to deal with this bs IRL.

You’re basically stealing from other games. Hello, Lost Ark, I see you there. It’s not a new idea and I don’t think it would work very well in WoW. It’s just not that type of game.

Wow… another expansion and I just rejoined days ago to try this new Shadowlands. I’m soooooo lost! It’s been awhile. -_________-

Here’s hoping you treat the Alliance as an equal faction, show us some respect, and try to make amends for all of the nasty things you’ve done to my beloved faction over the years. I ain’t holding my breath, but here’s hoping…

… they’ve done more nasty stuff to the Horde than the alliance so… the alliance doesn’t need that much of an apology. They did Baine dirty, that Afrias whatever ruined Sylvanas’s character, and they need to repair the story more so than apologize to either of our factions as it’s just…in a very bad spot right now. They tainted the lore making it all the Jailer’s doing

Just a note, this is being done ont he same day LFR Jailer comes out.

If the goal is to avoid spoiling people on the Jailer ending by waiting til he’s available in LFR - this won’t work. You’re announcing the next xpac before anyone will have a chance to kill LFR Jailer.

So if this is the reason, I just ask that you please release LFR jailer a week earlier than planned, so players who avoid spoilers have a week to do LFR Jailer before you guys spoil them with the next xpac.

The Alliance has lost a city of some sort in every single expansion except Shadowlands. (Though one could argue we lost Lakeshire, because on eof the Kyrian quests sees us witness the town get overrun by the Scourge)

The Horde not so much.

The Alliance have lost the same amount of leaders as the Horde, but the Alliance leaders that were killed/removed were relegated to a side-story that no one cared about, but the Horde leaders got the main story, so it feels like the Horde have more leaders who get killed. (I’ve typed up a list before, but not gonna go look for it lol)

Let’s get some solo player progression systems in the game already!
