I’m 8/8 bwl, i’m just not stupid enough to post in threads like this with my raiding toon for the very reason you just demonstrated. “contribute more” no one would be there without everyone else.

Hunters don’t get SGC over a Warrior unless they want to play by themselves.
whatever you say chief, you can be as delusional as you want in your own groups.
Hunters replace the extremely rare SGC with the extremely not rare T1 and T2 chests. Warriors don’t replace it until AQ40.
Hunters get more gear than anyone else right now, they don’t need to take Warrior gear.
and? that doesn’t make them any more or less entitled to loot than anyone else.

We don’t get more gear, it’s just we have less competition because we didn’t chose to play “the god class that deserves all the loot”.

The reason doesn’t matter; you literally just disagreed and agreed with me in the same post. The two Hunters in my raid are both one item away from complete BiS gear, one month into BWL.

People playing Hunters get more loot because of this.

the amount of loot dropped isn’t proportional to the amount of each class in the raid, after 100 bwl runs, the amount of hunter specific tier gear will be 12.5%. just like every other class. more hunter gear doesn’t drop.

Malakoi in my guild got 3 pieces of T2 and Ashjre’thul, Crossbow of Smiting today. Malakoi got more loot than anyone else today.

Hunters as a class don’t get more loot. We just have less competition. The amount of loot is the same as other classes. It’s just for every hunter, there’s 3-4 warriors.

There’s fewer Hunters, so the Hunters that do raid get more loot. This is almost as ridiculous as when you claimed that you failed to loot an item with a 25% drop rate 127 times in a row, not realizing that the probability of that happening was 1 in 12 Quadrillion.

Jimmy the Hunter goes into raid and 5 pieces of Hunter loot drops. Jimmy rolls against the other Hunter in the raid and wins 3 pieces of loot. Jimmy goes home happy with his 3 pieces of loot.
Bobby the Warrior goes into raid and 5 pieces of Warrior loot drops. Bobby rolls against the other 10 Warriors in the raid and gets nothing. Bobby goes home angry with his 0 pieces of loot.

no, the average amount of loot between classes is the same, the frequency of loot to individuals is different. “hunters” didn’t get more loot than anyone else, individuals got loot with greater frequency, not greater amplitude.

Wow, it’s almost like you could say those Hunters that are fewer, get more loot. It’s almost like you could say, generally speaking, Hunters get more loot.
I think I’ve entertained this bizarre argument enough.
I love the audacity of telling the hunter in your PuG group to just go get t1 chest; just go get it, it’s right over there on golemagg. Just go pick it up, it’s right there for you.
Vet your arena farming groups, run with guildies, etc. If you run with PuG hunters and shams, I hope they roll against you, because why shouldn’t they? I hope the shaman takes your HoJ too later in the run, because why shouldn’t they? They’re PuGs, they don’t know you. They don’t care who you are or what you’re trying to accomplish. You’re some goofball named orcslayer thinking “warriors really want SGC guys” is a profound thought.
