But at least his name is not Varian, his death would include screaming and exploding.
Saurfang’s death was appropriate - I just think the execution (no pun intended) was lacking.
He should have done more damage, Sylvanas should not have been able to match his physical strength, and she should have been more dishonorable and gruesome about it.
Maybe it’s just that from our perspective Sylvanas’ true nature has always been obvious, but her breakdown didn’t seem like that big of a deal. Nor did the powers she was wielding come to think of it.
The concept of Saurfang sacrificing himself to reveal Sylvanas to the holdouts who were just… so…SO thunderously stupid as to not see Sylvanas for what she was… yeah, sure.
The fact that it went down the way it did? … Saurfang came off as pathetic, and Sylvanas apathetic. Saurfang should have done more than a tiny scratch, and Sylvanas should have had a much more spectacular meltdown. Last time she lost it, she committed a warcrime - this time… I would barely call that outburst a tantrum? Is her new dark powers derived from seeing a therapist? N’zoth’s power the gift of anger management? …
Either way, lame.

I agree that it was anticlimactic but I think the storyline is interesting. I didn’t like how quickly and easily he was defeated but I think it’s evident that either Sylvanas is either being impersonated or possibly possessed. It makes sense, since she ended up with Xal’atath, right?
If saurfang were war and sylvy were rogue
He appears to cast rampage and charge. Rogues have too much power with fresh cds to open like that. She obviously uses marked for death, elusiveness, and killing spree. And finishes him off with a trinket.

I didn’t like how they made him a total jobber for Sylvanas.
Sure, he ‘outsmarted’ her, you could argue, but nobody is going to convince me that the Saurfang that’s been portrayed since Wrath is going to go out to Sylvanas that easily in pure melee.
It’s like seeing Aragon lose to Frodo in a duel, it would not even be possible without some serious plot stupidity.
That ‘scar’ is barely a papercut, come on. She should have at least took a slash, she’s undead, she can take it.
He deserved far worse than getting blasted by waifu magic.
He eats Draenei babies.

Well compared to Yogg-Saron and C’thun, Nzoth can be killed in LFR which makes him a joke as boss to begin with to release.
I feel like Yogg may come back in some shape or form. His connection to The Lich King was there but never really focused on.
Plus as a few videos on the subject point out, Yogg-Sarons theme plays when Bolvar gets crowned Lich King.
And then theres the fact Sylvanas dies in one of the novels by being impaled on Saronite. Makes me wonder if Yogg is this “Death” and is fooling Sylvanas.
That’d be interesting too. I love Yogg. I’d love to fight him again and have his laughing ringing throughout my ears.
Edit: Without DBM doing it, I mean. Cause DBM does it for me now.
I think you missed the whole point with Sylvanas being able to do all of the things you mentioned. She’s been empowered by an outside source

The first war was with broxigar saurfang , Varok saurfang (saurfang) was alive for that. when the horde and alliance didn’t even exist, youre thinking of world of Warcraft lore, Saurfang is much older than that. Sargeras was almost summoned completely to azeroth, the portal closed just in time because broxigar wounded sargeras.
We’ll have to see, there is some interesting leaks like azshara and sylvanas actually being friends but “apparently” sylvanas went rogue. I bet she actually is good all along, which would be kinda corny because then she is literally the saviour of azeroth but she is supposed to be the mean lady lol.
