I checked on some characters that never did Shadowlands, and unfortunately, they don’t have the Count title. I’m guessing you have to go through it, join the Venthyr covenant, and maybe do a bit of renown grinding since, if I recall correctly, Blizzard currently isn’t planning on making Shadowlands renown account wide sadly. Bleh. Or should I say blah? :vampire:

On another note, we’re a few days away from Halloween and I’m sure some of y’all have parties in mind. This video has some ideas for snacks and setup for such an occasion:

It’s getting hard to sleep knowing Halloween is slowly making its way here. Not to mention that being sick is no fun, since I can’t seem to stop my coffin. :vampire:

Halloween is almost here! I’m sure several of y’all are running around and getting those final preparations for tomorrow finished, whether you party, pass candy to trick or treaters, or just have your own personal celebration.

The fact that on the original thread this race would only be for the horde is seriously leaving my head scratching. At most it would be a neutral race if anything.

Still tho cool art concepts for sure.

This is something I like to show off as an example for something similar for the San’layn racial leader to play at certain intervals, echoing throughout the zone such as Ghostlands. I’m sure I’ll talk more on that idea again in the future.

Lastly, the devs of Vampire Survivors have been uploading all the Castlevania music tracks in the Castlevania DLC for the game on their official YouTube channel, some of which I’ve linked here. If you want to listen to their remixes of several tracks, you can find the YouTube channel here:

Halloween may be over, but the support for playable Horde San’layn continues on! :bat:

With the beginning of each month, I make in-game suggestions for each race I want to see playable along with a mention of their respective megathreads on these forums. While it is far from a guarantee of seeing our dreams come true, I do think every little bit helps, and doing it monthly I feel is reasonable and not that intrusive or annoying.

If you’re interested in doing the same for races you want to see playable, I made a little guide on how to do so in-game here:

As we get closer to both Midnight and The Last Titan, it’s important to keep showing support for playable Horde San’layn since they can play some pretty big roles in both expansions! :man_vampire:

So the Warcraft Direct is in a few days, complete with expectations of many Warcraft related announcements.

I honestly don’t really know what all to expect for it. As I said before, it feels like it’s a bit early to have any announcements for Midnight, since we have a patch or two left for TWW. Still, it could happen depending on when Blizzard wants to release that expansion.

In terms of the upcoming Warcraft Direct, I don’t know if there would be anything San’layn related. While they weren’t really a part of Warcraft 3, the events in that game did help shape them into becoming San’layn for WoW, so you could make a case of San’layn being part of the Warcraft anniversary in general. But we may have to wait for either Midnight or The Last Titan to see if they make a reappearance in some fashion, preferably not as mustache-twirling loot piñatas.

If there is anything of particular San’layn interest, I’ll be sure to go over it here. That said, my expectations are still tempered.

And of course regardless of what does or doesn’t happen, I’ll still be supporting playable Horde San’layn as best as I can! :man_vampire:

It wouldn’t be. It would use the same skeleton probably but you can see in the original post the many different options for them.

I cant find any evidence that they look any different from blood elves to warrant a different model.

Since they are blood elves.

I would like new full races to bring something new. Top to bottom. If they wanted to give elves (and void elves because we cant not give void elves anything) an undead skin. So be it.

But san’layn are not prominent enough for a full race.

I would find it odd for Blood Elves to have access to the options in the main post above. Why would they have such features? San’layn are more than different enough imo.

Technically sure, though the Darkfallen and specifically the subcategory of San’layn do have some interesting differences. Blood Curse and all. Would be neat to see that in a racial.

I sure wouldn’t want the “wildhammer” treatment. Really sucks.

(Pun intended. :smiley: Sucks… cause San’layn…?)

I have no issues with new races but I also would like to get the various races that do share models so we can finally play them. This in an RPG game and if you’re just going to sit there and say “You have one of that model you don’t need another even though the context of the race and subrace in this game would totally warrant one for Role Play purposes” has always seemed really odd to hear.

Well.

Its more odd for “hey, the main expansion feature is we are introducing one race. it looks exactly like another. no changes other than skin tone. i hope you didnt want something actually new. we are just gonna do some copy/pasting”
