That person is here for the sake of argument and ignored all points brought up by the first post, I wouldn’t engage them. We’ll continue to speak here, we’ve been here for 9 threads, and will continue to post. Also, classes are listed on the first post, hekhekhek!
Ok but now you’ve completely changed your argument.
San’layn are no way any more “evil” than the Forsaken; yours truly. Comb through years worth of lore and you’ll find that people like me are actually much, much worse.
Besides, races dealing with stigmas that malign them as “evil” often go to the Horde for precisely this very reason.
Heh, imagine using that logic with HM or Mag’har, or in the reverse with Undead.
San’layn are are type of undead, one that has enough of a distinction to make them interesting… much in the same way Lightforged themselves are just another type of light worshiping Draenei, but the difference is that San’layn actually would offer a very different aesthetic, unlike LF Draenei do.
Coming here to discuss isn’t an offense. Shutting an argument down just makes this thread an echo chamber. Shouldn’t you aim to convince me to change my view in the first place? I read the first post and I don’t see how something which exists as concept deserves an allied race when at best it’s a skin option for belves.
I would, if you actually read my first post, which clearly you didn’t. I don’t argue with people of whom repeat the same argument we’ve talked about many times over, that again–I highlight in my first post. I don’t like repeating myself, therefore I will not. If you’d like to continue talking about it with others, go ahead, but I’ve already given my reasoning many times over and don’t plan on doing it for the uptillionth time.
The forsaken were and are evil indeed. That being said the whole idea of the Forsaken joining the horde was Magatha’s idea who is also well evil.
Also I’d say the reasons for San’layn are as flimsy as the reasons for helves
One could argue that due to Yrel, all Lightforged Draeni are evil. And you can feel that all you want. I disagree, and I’m going to repeat once again that this is a San’layn discussion, not a High Elf discussion.
Yrel isn’t even a lightforged draenei. She never met them again in her timeline lol
I don’t know if that’s true or not, but I’ll assume it is.
Even so, that rationale sort of falls apart when, even after Magatha was ousted from the Horde, the remaining leaders still tolerate, respect, and work with the Forsaken. Vol’jin, a Darkspear Troll, was the one who appointed the leader of the Forsaken as the overall Warchief of the Horde, if you recall.
ahh yes the whole “they are evil and shouldn’t be playable” so i guess just delete the entire horde roster except for Tauren and Pandaren yeah? go ahead and delete priests since they have a shadow spec, rogues, death knights and demon hunters as well.

a) Multiple classes, as seen in Enh’kila and ICC.
b) “They’re evil” arguments fall apart with forsaken and DK, of whom are intelligent undead LIKE San’layn and do not have to be evil.
c) I’ve explained all of this in the first post.
look at all these vampires
How do we mention people? I thought that was a function too but I can’t figure that one out yet either.
You essentially @name someone. So if I wanted to mention you it’d be @Fallynn (I think or so it says at the bottom)
I got a notification that someone replied to this thread, but not that I got an @, which is weird. Wonder if it’s not working yet.
Blessing this thread with the power of elves!
Oh wow that’s awesome, you get many hearts of approval for that I didn’t know there was an elf emote!
I tried to figure out how to @ people.
I failed miserably.
That is amazing. I now have to go through all of these emojis! So many options! haha
