Fix Escape Artist getting “resisted”.
The reason Alliance has less players is never really addressed here: We have worst PvP racials, by a longshot. Then one of our decent ones doesn’t even work as written on the label.
Fix the underlying issue, extra honor is meaningless already at this point of p1. (And of course whatever extra honor you give us is NOT going to be compensating the fact we can’t make full premades anymore.)
Basically nothing about this announcement is good.

Um yes, otherwise Alliance would switch to the “lose on purpose as quick as possible” meta like we saw in prepatch. There would be very few if any ppl actually trying to win. Those ppl would most likely get kicked from the bg getting mass reported by the losers trying to lose on purpose.
Want to hear the true fix blizzard is totally missing? Remove racials in pvp arenas and battlegrounds. Done, no more of this BS where everyone plays horde for extra pvp edge. Lets really level the playing field once and for all instead of destroying the balance of the game.

This didn’t ruin classic in any way, it’s actually an amazing change.
We are still waiting 1 hour for AV. So it won’t be that easy due to how long it will take to get the AV marks. Add to that the gear that requires AV marks… So it is unlikely you’ll be doing the repeatable quests to turn in the marks very fast.
If only they implement a system where you can turn in x3 of the marks for each battleground type. This way, players will get to choose to do their preferred bg’s rather than feel forced in to doing all of them. This is wishful thinking and I’m aware that is more of a me problem.

So I don’t understand then. Alliance is clearly disadvantaged in PVP because of a player created problem; just like horde are. Yet when Alliance do the smart thing and group up it’s litteraly taken away from them while horde get to reap the benefits of better pugs. Please tell me how that is not clear favortism from Blizzard? It’s just crazy how people can’t see this.

Thanks for the update! I think the proposed changes address the massive issue of horde not being able to play pvp without spending 6 hours/day for a month sitting in queues, while doing as much as possible to maintain the integrity of the game and spirit of classic. In a perfect world we would have 50/50 faction participation in PVP, but until a larger solution is developed to improve PVP faction balance we need something like this to address the immediate glaring issue.

the solution to alliance premades is to make your own premade
guarantee every person on horde that think this is a fantastic change for something that is somehow unfair and unbalanced were the same people telling alliance on 40/60 a/h servers back in phase 2 vanilla to xfer or stop complaining that “pvp happened on a pvp serveR”
the actual solution should have been blizzard telling horde players to just reroll or move, as was blizzards largely given solution for alliance players in phase 2, but of course horde get their cake and eat it too in every aspect of the game in tbc classic and retail

You mean Alliance players trolling the boards and telling horde to reroll? Or Alliance players telling horde they don’t need pvp gear?
Horde will now have the same issue because lower ques mean more AFKers and bots. I saw this on the 1st test and even saw it in retail a few times.
It was panda or Wod when island of conquest had a 5 to 10 minute que. Guess what happened? Over 10 players AFK mid Constantly.
This fix definitely fixes the premade and que problem…but we still have bots, afkers, and Honor problems. I’m just glad to see 2 of the 5 major issues with pvp have been addressed. 3 more to go and I will be a very happy customer.
And some people have the opinion that Apples are better than oranges.
