I’m wondering what difference you think this makes, if the alliance is willing to use the BG numbers to identify their instance, they could also just easily match up discord names to in game names to achieve the same thing

The problem is when you have 15 people it’s basically a steamroll.
Imagine putting 5 random players in a 5v5 vs 5 people who are all hand picked and prepared on discord. Who’s going to win? It’s obvious. It’s not fun and it ruins the game.

At least allow premade v premades instead of capping the amount of players at 5. Whats the point of PvP if you have 10 randoms in your bg that you cant talk to in VC and strategize with. Seems like the people making decisions over there have zero clue on how this game should be played.

Same faction bgs are long overdue, but killing pre-mades will kill battelgrounds.
If you don’t want to fight against a pre-made, just join your own pre-made.
Also, it is not impossible or even rare for a pug group to win against a pre-made.
On the contrary, you should allow pre-mades in Alterac as well!
