Still been in retail on and off for last few years, but it really lacks a social yet casual side, which I miss. Anyone I knew stopped played years ago.
While this char is a hordie (I swing on both sides, if you will) I also play Alliance, and happy to join. Looking forward to it.

Yes, we old geezers should stick together! I am, in fact, old geezer-y enough that Iām going to have to get the nephew to explain Discord to me so I can have that conversation. Anyway, while Iām an RPer from Earthen Ring in the way-back time, my husband isnāt, & we are a package deal, so itās good to hear RP enthusiasm/skill is not a requirement, just common courtesy about it.
Not a raider, not a power playerā¦ heck, Iāve barely scratched the surface of Nazjatar on current WoW, & that only with two characters. Mostly a wander-around-exploring-while-chatting player.

Request sent on discord. As a full time worker, plus a part time musician, this group sounds right up my alley. I do intend on spending plenty of time in game, and was a guild leader in Wrath, not quite making Lich King kill before Cata as we were very casual.

I am very interested in joining you. I might be bringing 3-4 players with me as well. I am 54 and they are about the same.
We started early on vanilla, Scarlet Crusade (RP), and had a blast and ending up raiding there.
We got the raiding bug and when the next wave of servers opened, we rerolled PvP with 40+ players and hit the ground running with a guild formed just like this.
Our guild was first guild on the server, and we were the top raiding guild for a year plus. We raided through BC and started to burnout in WotLK. Our hard core raiding and PvP days are behind us, and we just want to have fun on an RP server.
I kept buying the expansions and dabbling, but it was never the same.
I hope to recapture some of that magic here. I hope it might be with you all.

Nefkan This guild sounds exactly like what I have been looking for. I love playing wow but Iām pretty laid back about it. I enjoy dungeon runs which are more fun with guild mates. I like to tank and prefer playing a pally which Iām pretty sure I can make work in classic dungeons. If you still have any room I would like to join and may possibly have two other players that are my age that may want to join. Iām 59 and ex-military.

I am older and mature, I am not going to give you my age as a lady never gives her age. I am a firm believer that the person behind the toon is important. Respecting your guildies and having fun will make a great team. I was in a small casual/social guild and it felt like family. I could not wait to log in and wipe with everyone. I tend to laugh and see the humour when things do not go as planned.
After all it is just a gameā¦

Iām 56 and been playing WoW since December 2004. Raided into Naxx in Vanilla. but never cleared it. At this point Iām more casual and would enjoy playing with other like minded mature players.
Iām looking forward to release. Not sure how much Iāll play the first few nights but will be around a lot over the long weekend. I sent a friend request on Discord (Zheroux#7038) and should be available Friday evening.

Hey there! Iām coming back to Classic after years away (since Cata launch). I was a teen with more time on my hands then, but Iāve missed this world! I used to play with my dad actually, so the whole āfamilyā vibe sounds just perfect. Iām just a little wary of the RP server. I know you said the guild wouldnāt be RP, but I have no experience on an RP server at all, and obviously my play would still somewhat be impacted by RP. I was wondering if you (or others) could share some of your RP server experiences with me? Is it kind of similar to playing D&D?
Hey there! RP servers have naming rule sets, so you need to have a proper name according to the rules or you would/ could be forced to change it. Basically donāt have a name like Stabbymcstabby and youāll be good (give or take a few names). Also RP servers are great communities because people are actively roleplaying out in the world. If you are not a role player you can just observe but donāt interrupt or interfere. RP servers are pretty laid back and have great communities which provide great potential for awesome in game experiences. People still raid and do dungeons, etc but itās less toxic than other servers as well. Thatās the general responseā¦maybe an actual RPāer can chime in as well as I donāt actively RP. Most of what Nefkan said is correct - RP communities are great! Iām not a big RPāer, but have dabbled over the years as I love the lore. I RPed mostly back in Wrath. People on RP servers tend to be nicer and definitely less toxic. There are usually a ton of community events. The key is to be respectful and not interfere when people are RPing. I still play on an RP server despite not roleplaying much, simply because the atmosphere is great. I love seeing the creativity that comes out.

Can toss in my two coppers and agree with both above! As an RPer, the community is generally welcoming, very friendly, and helpful too. On my live server, you can come into Trade chat and say āGood morning Trade Chat! I hope your day is an awesome one!ā And people will reply politely, ask you about your day, and just chatter. Sure we joke around, a lot lol, weāre a lively bunch! But we have a good spirit and mean well! When encountering RP (and the rest XD) its happening everywhere a lot more than people think and people are very cool about those who dont rp, as long as everyone shows respect for others. A lot of times, i get questions about my retail guild, my transmog, my mount, all sorts of things and people use are always respectful to the fact that im rping. Alot of times when im not in rp. People also like to hold open events tor everyone, which is so much fun, and they dont mind observers too. I started on a normal pve server and after coming to an RP one, i wont ever go back. Thr community is a jewel and very worth it.
I would like to join this guild. I have never played RP before but I like the idea of a friendly community of players. It sounds like a new way to enjoy the game. Please consider me.
