You tried with FFXIV to split us apart and failed, you tried again with Lost Ark, and again with New World and Tower of Fantasy to destroy us! You just keep failing, Azeroth will live on, WoW will survive! - Saurfang
I liked when Velen did his thing during the WoDâs Shadow Moon ending.
Yseraâs bit was good but then Blizzard decided to put her in a pea pod in the afterlife instead of the noble constellation that was a fitting end of a story.
For me my desire to long in daily. Shadowlands killed it. Itâs so damn sad
Amber Kearnen. A dreadlord masquerades as Shaw, tells SI:7 agents to kill her, and they just go right ahead and do it - no questions asked. Why couldnât it be that we were sent after a âtraitorousâ agent, only to learn the truth from her and have her help rescue Shaw? If she were to die in battle, during the rescue, that wouldâve at least been respectful to her character.
Then thereâs Cordana Felsong. After all the effort we went to, to save AU Garona from mind control, we donât even try to save Cordana from literally the same exact kind. We just kill her and nobody even expresses any regret about her fate - not even Khadgar. Why couldnât we save her too? Hell, forget Garona - we already have one in regular Azeroth anyway! Why couldnât AU Garona die instead of Cordana?
Oh, and I just remembered that cult lady in Wrath, who you kill during a quest - and then find a letter to her father, about how she was really an undercover agent working to destroy the cult from within. I wish we couldâve found this out and helped her instead.
My enjoyment.
For me, it is the innocents I have killed in the DK starting zone. They beg, they have families. Itâs very sad.
âFinish it.â
âShow no mercy.â
Ben Howell for sure.
However, the Vanessa Van Cleef storyline in the revamped Westfall made me feel like a right villain for roflstomping her daddy over and over back when I was a wee lad and I just thought the Defias were generic bad guys and didnât know the Defias were the ones who rebuilt Stormwind, only to have the nobles crap on their work and refuse to pay them because they got manipulated by Onyxia.
i refuse to acknowledge her death to this day.

I still sometimes die on that fall anyway, just because my framerate will sputter and Iâll be forcibly jettisoned to the bottom of the water, hit the eggs and die instantly.

âŚbecause the writing was so bad, they wasted so much potential. Made one of the best characters in the game Warchief, did absolutely nothing with him, then killed him off with some trash mobs. Wasted potential.
The only two that come to my mind are Little Pamelaâs questchain which is way up there on my saddest wow death list, so is Crusader Bridenbradâs questline.
100% agree about the best cinematic. I love when Yrel says âjust youâ.
Itâs sad so many people never see it because they think WoD is just overall garbage.
The story was actually pretty solid, ignoring the time travel shenanigans.
Though I do agree with one of the comments on that video - the original Maraad/Yrel story making it live wouldâve made this cutscene way better. Originally Yrel/Maraad were a couple. MU!Yrel died and AU!Maraad died, this wouldâve been his way of saving his wife he failed to save in the MU! and made it all that more emotional.
Little Pamela and the Battle of Darrowshire hit me. We lost a child once.
Toss up between Runas and the little girl Pamela Redpath looking for her dolly. I was rooting for Runas to show up in the Shadowlands somewhere, butâŚ
When I fall off a high cliff or hill because I zoned out and forgot what I was doing. -_-
Voljins death was the saddest death in WoW, because despite being such a badass that he survived having his throat slit by a blade covered in anti-troll regen poison, he ended up dying practically begging Sylvanas to call for a retreat and getting shanked in the back by some random noname felguard that just conveniently happened to have his weapon covered in some fel poison stuff that negates troll regen. All so Danuser could get his undead waifu on the throne.
Now thatâs just sad.
The warrior in my pvp match i did last night who said save yourselfs then leaped into the enemy team giving some of us enough time to fall back
