Heck yeah! totally agree on taking great gamers on off meta specs!
I might contend that there are social impacts that you might not have listed. Just because say, a resto druid CAN do the higher keys, most people avoid taking them and other non-meta healers after a certain key level. A good reason to play the meta healer is for higher rates of invite acceptance. Coordinated groups often have a strong preference for it too.
I play all of the healers so it doesn’t impact me directly - I enjoy them all! I just wanted to spur discussion on stale metas on the health of the game/community. There have been so many great changes for the “midcore” community and I wonder if this is one where there might have been a small miss.
