Yeah - but half the stuff he said automatically is intertwined with one another.

  1. Legendaries - Created by Soul Ash. If you are farming and creating Legendaires, you are grinding Soul Ash already.
  2. Conduits - Randomly generated but are bought by Stygia - so you can strike another off your list. Grinding for Conduits entails that you are farming Stygia.
  3. Renown- Everyone needs to do this. Big woop. It won’t take long.

It is no way near as bad as Battle for Azeroth. Legendaries and such are bind on account - and there are catch-up mechanisms.

To expand on this, this is my main concern and I don’t think it’s talked about enough. The idea of being able to ‘fully’ gear via PvP.

Every expansion worth a dang had vendors where conquest bought you the highest ilvl (pvp) gear available and it was gated merely by how much conquest you could earn, which increased with rating. Even without crossing into a higher threshold, you could buy any 1 piece a week less the main pieces. Even then, you would only need 50 conquest from the following week to complete the purchase for 2250 conquest, and still buy a 1750 or 1250 piece. That was it, you bought that piece of gear and that slot was done for the season. In turn, you still paid your sub and just queued arena.

We are being told we can ‘fully gear’ via PvP in SL. Even if technically true, I am hearing that it takes an unreasonable amount of time to upgrade pieces to high ilvl. It is absurd that base honor gear will be complete trash and lack behind one-handed mouth breathing activities like simple World Quests (how is this alright?).

Blizzard’s slogan should revolve around the false perception of choice.

You’re going to play the game how we want you to play and you’re going to like it.

It’s bizarre that they play around a play timed model and don’t account that the accounts still around are mostly a decade+ old.

Why make loyal customers play the same amount of time they did before doing stuff they don’t want to do?

How does that do anything but make people quit?

Maybe its only pvpers that are this
Jaded idk and reg players are on a slow burn til this game fizzles out when it can’t retcon everything to keep the appeal.

When the carrot is insanely stale don’t just add 3 more just as stale carrots
