I am using the same gear as the #1 rated BG Blitz Shadow priest is. They too upgraded their Galatic PVP gear to get the Set bonuses of the Blind Oath set.

Make fade your best friend . It will solve a lot of your survivability issues . Let’s you get right up on hunters to fear them and make them panic . A lot have trouble with rogues , trinket that cheap shot immediately and fear . Trade your dispersion for their shadow form . I’m not in any way good but I have none of the issues you described with spriest . I love the spec and have good success in 1 on 1 with any caster

Lol you’d never know it based on how most warrior players PvP.
You seem to be hellbent on stacking crit… Higher haste would make your cast times faster forcing melee to react faster making it easier to juke kicks.
Other than that until I see gameplay I can’t tell you anymore of what you could be doing right or wrong. I wish you luck, and like I said I wasn’t trying to dog on you. I just wanted to give te kindness someone gave me when I was at 1800 in blitz.
S Priest skill floor is higher than most, perhaps this is what you are running into rather than the whole “being bad” sterotype.

if you ever played SP then you know anytime its in a good state blizz will come by and fix that. they really intend for priests to heal.

Also, Spriest is decent right now. I’ll admit that it sucks not having a slow baked in as an immobile stand and cast class, but you still do extreme spread damage and a well timed silence can win games.

I never served in the military but I’m retired law enforcement and I would never talk about anything I’ve seen on the forums but everyone has different takes I guess
I think the issue with shadow is a lot of the people playing it just don’t know how to play this version of it very well.

Kinda weird that kicking shadow is semi irrelevant. Even if I’m hitting a SP the only thing I’d kick is holy so they can’t get wall up. They have no real team tools so you kinda just hope your damage overwhelms

How is it ret Paladin another support class can have preposterous burst, amazing utility the best defensive kit in the game, and still heal?

Its not so much the Spriest but rather the 100% uptime melee have because of all the silence slows roots stuns and gap closers.
They need to stop balancing and designing using 3s. Its old and doesnt work because its always RMx thats best.
Its time to revamp the way its done and maybe replace the designers/balancers

Im losing this battle hard. The last one i tried to coexist with got mad at me for taking her out for thai food after insisting I pick the place and insisting she would eat anything.
