Ryzen 3000 spec/price leaked (supposedly)

Weren’t the AMD processor leaks just a reddit hoax?

I would be happy with GTX 1070/1070 Ti levels of performance for $250/$300.

Or basically, a 1440p/60fps card.

Hasn’t been confirmed or denied

The 580 was about 8% slower than the GTX 980 and less than 1/2 the price.

RX 580 MSRP was about $220. GTX 980 MSRP was about $540. This has already happened before.

I don’t think Zen2 will be a combo of cheap, as fast as gaming and fit in all AM4 mobos. Something going to give on that front if AMD even mirrors Epyc at all on desktops. GPU on the other hand is probably going to slightly slower than GTX 1080 and 1/2 the price just like what AMD/Nvidia did before.

hence i put “supposedly” in title.

I know stuff can be false and made sure to include that
but one can hope its real.

this i would actually disagree. AMD has said in past current chipset MB should work will all cpu’s until a efw years from now.

Highly doubt you’re gonna put a 16 core 5.1ghz chip into an A320 chipset and expect it to work.

But “supposedly”!

I think amd was being truthful about then supporting “AM4” until 2020.

So that means I think these leaked chips’ core counts and frequencies are just wrong…

OR we just get AM4+.

LOL remember AM3+ New motherboards for “sidegrade” FX chips.

The alleged leaks of AM4 TDP would be higher than what current AM4 can provide. I don’t see the 12/16 core variants without new mobos. They might work on existing mobos from an engineering point-of-view similar to the 9900K situation but say goodbye to clock speeds.

Also, grats to all the trolls. You’ve won. Newest leaks from AMD insiders is they’ll be raising prices. They were shocked people feel the prices are too cheap. Price increases across the board and new VEGA canceled (~2080 TI speed). Mid range Navi can be made more profitable and VEGAs can concentrate on workstation/datacenter cards.

It wasn’t us. You think the bean counters would have let that slip past them?

a russian site listed a line up with some specs thats known for listing products (but not selling em itself so again take with a grain of salt)

Some Reddit links to to support lockedheart

Oh man

The big leak if this is true

Gigabyte accidentally leak some ryzen 3000 series specs on their x470 best board

If this doesn’t change these people’s mind (you know who) then…

But really though, rumor is still a rumor

Who are you talking about specifically? I’d love to know.

Link already proven fake. Man, you AMD guys are grasping at anything aren’t ya?

  so dumb

99.9% of my entire pc life is intel (currently using intel cpu and nvidia gpu and havent had anything AMD since around time Wrath was new where i got an amd gpu)

You dont HAVE to be a fanboy to be happy and hopeful for them.

Competition is a benefit for both sides. (i mean if it wasnt for AMD’s Ryzen intel would still have us at 4 cores msot likely <_<) lowers prices, gets other side to release new/better stuff, etc.

We will find out in 6 mor3 days.

Will also be potentially selling an 8700K/Mobo on eBay if anyone is interested

Hopefully the rumors are true so I can snag a 7980xe for cheap.

Best be ready with your delidding tool and some liquid metal cause dem things run HOT :stuck_out_tongue:

Intel CPU prices do not drop that much. I see people selling used 8700Ks for $275-300 still.
