RWF (CE) players please stop whining about the nerfs

Most people don’t use the forum. Better to check twitter, discord, Reddit!

And that is exactly the fact RWF guilds don’t like. They want to sell boost!

Better to check the places that you don’t even have to have a WoW account to post on? Yeah, that makes sense. Oh wait, no it doesn’t.

Why should people that don’t play WoW talk about it? We ain’t that cool!

For content that’s only fun and lose value with a new patch/ expansion, Mythic Difficulty should be more accesible for a bigger playerbase.

Without considering the 20 man restriction even some RWF have some good points:

WoW should be designed around the fact that you need to reclear, a lot of guild can’t even get CE on time or just kill the final boss once, that’s the problem with gear being provided by Mythic and the full wipe mechanics, also the time that requires for the regular player to engage Mythic with different works and raid schedules.

I agree. I mean Mythic should be hard, but it shouldn’t make you feel like you have to start extending from day1 (ok I exaggerate but you kwim), just to have a shot.

edit: Making it more reclear friendly would also (I assume) alleviate a lot of the angst of raiders in regards to M+.

Maximum is the real deal! He does also say that he disagrees with many of his peers about the subject!

True, I don’t like Mythic since its implementation

  • 20 Man requirement

  • Instance lockout id

  • Hall of Fame blocking cross realm

  • Gear acquisition (it got easier via M+)

  • the number of Bosses and Trash.

There’s a lot of elements that drive players away from Mythic, you already have a really small % of players doing it once, now imagine the % from that % of guilds doing reclears to get their BIS loot.

I share this view with you!

  1. Better players always complain about nerfs to some extent.
  2. Most of the complaints are about the massive number and magnitude of the nerfs, which suggests the raid was far from ready on release.

Alternatively, the devs were experimenting on the raiding playerbase to try to increase the length of time that the world first race would take, while imagining they could control the weekly rate of completion of the raid at all difficulty levels by continuous nerfs.

I wish more people would follow this advice. The world would be a better place.

1.Where do you see them whining? Could you provide some links?
2.The only people I’ve seen complaining about nerfs so far were people who aren’t really Mythic raiders or won’t clear the raid anyway, which is kinda weird.

Really? You haven’t been paying attention. The extent of nerfs and universal complaints are unprecedented.

Yeah, it’s so tough being away from home working 16 hours a day playing a video game….

Not like hundreds of professions don’t already do that for things way less fun than playing video games….

This thread is full of people who would have gotten CE if this tier had been a standard length and they are complaining about nerfs.

edit: Not all are of course, but it’s not just already done or will never do.

Agree! At least I’m in good company here <3

Use google! Takes 2 sec! https://twitter.com/thdlock/status/1543088653471256576?s=21&t=CDZmLREv2rV2CYOs5Yy62Q

Can fit in another buyer or 2 as well every clear.

Well, let’s open the latest announcement threads for the upcoming nerfs.

I see a lot of understanding, agreement and complaints about how overtuned this raid has been in the first place. One guy asks if the fights haven’t been nerfed enough, but the question is coming from a casual who barely made it to AotC. One dude complains about ruining Mythic raids but according to his kill history he just managed to down the bosses after the nerfs and hasn’t even cleared the raid until now.
And one guy who’s not raiding at all but hates these nerfs and finds them unnecessary, lmao.

I don’t really see true CE players complaining who already cleared the raid on Mythic quite a while ago. Some of these complaints are just really weird, but there are not that much complaints anyway. Most people are on board with this.

No, this thread is not full of those people. Quit the drama.

This statement doesn’t even have anything to do with the topic, wtf.
Thdlock doesn’t complain about raid nerfs at all. In his opinion it should be harder to get ready for raids in the first place and that dailies and grinds should be necessary for that. If people get into raids too easily, they will quit more easily because they didn’t have to put any effort in this in the first place. He’s talking about completely other stuff.

What drama? You asked where were people complaining, I gave you a link to a thread where people are complaining. Answering a question is not drama the last I checked.

He is kinda saying it! :stuck_out_tongue: just look here! Plus that he want to make it harder to join the content on top of that! MMO don’t work as it was 2004 anymore, people in general will not grind thing for a long period of time. And if they don’t succeed they quit! It is much more cyclical gaming today!

His guild, composed of the best of the best in NA, had to throw in the towel this tier because it was taking too long, it was too difficult and they were overall exhausted.

Strange of them to then have the opinion and attitude that making it so regular human beings, that can’t play this game for 18 hours a day, can play the game is a bad thing.

It absolutely does.
What exactly do you think motivated him to suddenly make that tweet? Yeah, it’s clearly not related to the raid nerfs that were announced shortly before his tweet.
