Rustfeather insta dying

Can we get the same protections that exist for sha of anger, and other MoP mobs? Rustfeather, and other Mechagon mobs, are dying instantly and the problem will only get worse with the next patch. Thank you.

How’s it going to get worse if it already instantly dies?

People will be going back in time to kill him before he even spawns.

Adding the Sha of Anger treatment to all world bosses would be great. Its very frustrating to sit there waiting for it to spawn only to lose a tag because somebody one shot it.

A little five second window would be perfect.

Rust feather wasn’t a world boss like She of Anger, just a random rare…. If they were to do this to Rustfeather they’d have to do it from every elite mob spread across the open world, and there are dozens.

Best solution is have an alt parked there in warmode. Not many people farm old world content in war mode. Rarely see anyone on mine parked around the game. Better yet make sure the character is on an RP server. Even fewer people in RP warmode

All rares need a 5-10 second minimum combat timer. If it dies before then it sits there and lets people get a whack in.

Not as much of a big deal now but back in BfA I was trying to get my WoD flight form which needed rares from Tanann jungle and the one hit deaths was a serious annoyance.

Any mob that has a low drop chance for a mount should have the same protections as MoP mobs (that’s the ONLY reason why MoP boss mobs have the protections in place).

I have zero issues camping in WM but that doesn’t address the issue. It’s already a huge time-sink waiting for the mob to spawn, and the penalty for looking away from your screen for 1 second feels rather steep.
