Just means you’ve gotten a ton of drops.
Not something to complain about. We’re a month in and I’m still wearing 6 pieces of gear from last season.
Wrong. People who rush stuffs completing it in a week or 3 weeks, I complete it within the whole Season.
I don’t have a problem with that approach to the game. Do whatever you want in the game and do it at whatever pace you enjoy.
Just don’t see the reason to look down on people that do other things at a different pace. It doesn’t necessarily mean more time spent either way.

How are you capped on runed and still short crests?

I’m between tiers essentially. I don’t have mythic gear for dumping gilded. I don’t have sparks for making crafted. So I’m between runed and gilded and need more runed so I can use my gilded.
you don’t even need myth gear.
M+ hero alone is enough for you to have the runed achievement last week (possibly even the week before)
I’m not tracking. I’m currently capped on runed and can’t upgrade my gear past where it is.
you seem like a level-headed informed individual who can certainly find it in themself to figure out the easiest gearing system we’ve had arguably ever. play the game, get the crests
we have 3 full sparks in s3 already. complaining about not using gilded but simultaneously not crafting anything for OP is still hilarious

This is by design. Not sure if you were around in S1 but there was a huge outcry due to difficulty/tuning of dungeon and the type of crests given. For example, M+7 did not give gilded.
We are also rolling in with turbo-boosted items closing the gap in ilvl between the new season and the previous season alongside an easy to obtain legendary/artifact cloak and a beefy legendary quality belt as well as dinars that allowed us to obtain BIS items.
I wouldn’t complain about all this because we were literally given what we wanted. Not calling you out or anything but I do wish more people realized this.
There is a cap. I am 360 of 360.
I also can’t make more crafted gear because of sparks. Maybeeee you need to figure it out.

This happens a lot if you are upgrading all the way from 1/6 hero but also acquiring gilded crests. So basically if you do M+ but don’t go up to 10s.
If you do 10s, you get 701 items which only need a single runed upgrade, so you end up only needing 12-13 total runed crest upgrades for the season, which is 2 weeks.

Lord, yes it is so bad. Woe be to me if I find an actual upgrade piece as well. I wouldn’t have spent the runes so foolishly on pieces that I was going to dump if I knew the weekly cap was going to be so low.
My solution to the ‘bottle neck’ is to just be stingy with gear upgrades. I don’t spend runed crests on anything unless it’s a weapon, tier piece, or trinket.
It’s odd to me that most of the people here grasp the problem but you.

You can’t convert anymore if you are capped.
The person above you has it figured out, yet you don’t. If you plan your upgrading you wouldn’t have a bottleneck. You should also be used gilded crests to craft near maxed out gear. You shouldn’t waste crests upgrading item slots you’re crafting into either. Its like a shortcut.
Also, your bottleneck problem will alleviate itself in a week or two.
Oh, I should just hop right into 10’s when I did no PVE last season and I was getting 0 invites and having trouble filling my own key.
